Grayson walked into his office, his steps steady and quiet. Rick followed behind, holding his tablet close to his chest. The room smelled like leather and faint cologne, the large windows letting in soft morning light.
Grayson sat down in his black chair, adjusting his sleeves. His sharp eyes flicked to Rick, who stood still, waiting.
"You can go," Grayson said, voice low and firm.
Rick nodded and quickly left, shutting the door behind him without a sound.
