Great American Read List Novels & Stories

“Goodnight Aspen.” Aspen leaves with the book. It’ll be nice to have another friend. I don’t get to see Samantha much anymore so it’ll be nice to have Aspen around. He likes books like I do. I’ll have to make him a list to read while he is here. I scan the shelves and decide on to finally try The Great Gatsby. My teacher gave me a list of more advanced books to read that I would typically be reading when I reach high school. So far I’ve loved the books she recommended. The Giver was one of my favorites.

The five of us sat at the mouthwatering spread of rich fare. From the juicy lamb chops, the burning hot pot of risotto and gumbo, grilled steaks, whole rotisserie chicken, roasted duck, to the amazing desserts of panna cotta, semifreddo, luscious lava cake, sweet peach cobbler, that were able to feed thirty more people. Amidst the ill-will that I’ve built for Jake, I realized how dumb it was to keep him from my distance. He has always been nice to me and I’m deeply grateful for that.

He stepped forward and shouted angrily, "Who do you think you are? How dare you yell at our captain?" "Captain? What captain?" Fiona was stunned. Max replied angrily, "Open your eyes and see clearly! This is the captain of the special forces, Skywolf!" Victor continued, "He's a recipient of the Medal of Honor, a national hero! How dare a woman like you yell at him?" "What?" Fiona was struck dumb, staring at me wide-eyed. Phillip was also stunned, a flicker of fear in his eyes. Fiona trembled as she said, "No... No way... Timothy is just an ordinary clerk..."

The books on the shelf were neatly arranged but the frayed edges and the little tears on the bottom of most of the books gave out that they’d been read a couple times. Adrian didn't particularly strike me as someone who would love to read but I guess you can't always judge a person by their outward appearance. I traced my fingers along the spines, the titles ranging widely from classic literature, to mindset guides then to business strategy books. One title in particular caught my eye and I pulled it out : Good to Great by Jim Collins. I flipped through the pages not so sure of what I was looking for, because I wasn't interested in reading the book at the time, but it was an appropriate dist

The bookshelf was just as tall as Andrew so he could easily access the books there. The bookshelf had all sorts of books, ranging from fictional novels to nonfictional novels, to educational novels and textbooks. Her eyes caught titles like; The Redwall series by Brian Jacques, Caddie Woodlawn by Carol Ryrie Brink, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros and a lot more. Even the Encyclopedia was in his bookshelf. And there was also some novels on the basis of business and finance. The book the lad was currently reading was The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie.
