Alessia's POV I have read the book. It was a typical old storybook that sounded very English and Greek. I cringe a little because what I'm reading sounds like Julius Caesar. It talks about Greek gods, especially Poseidon since Homer's journey travels the seas. I feel like I'm getting a headache reading it because it's a story but the writing is poetic. But I understand because the ancient people were poets. I am too used to reading normal English novels. I just focused my attention on the book because there was nothing else to read there besides this. Even though I'm not used to reading like this, I'm just patient because it makes me sleepy.

She got up and handed me a book on Greek mythology. She had Roman, Nordic, Eastern European, Latin American, and Native American mythology books but said this book gave the best description and understanding of the goddess, Selene. "Don't let them scare you, like they did me. It's all part of a much larger plan, I just wasn't as brave as you are. And now that he's gone, I wish I had been brave enough to love him. Maybe he'd still be alive." Ginny started to tremble and cry. I hugged her, even though I wasn't a touchy-feely type of person. Somewhere deep down I knew she saw the truth while others, like me, denied it. I don't know why but Max's face popped into my mind as I soothed her.

'I bet there are thousands of mythological books' I thought, I looked around as much as I could while Hades carried me. ''You love books, don't you?'' He commented as he weaved his way through shelf after shelf of books, following Lachesis. ''No, just mythological books,'' I replied ''The underworld is the source of all mythological books and stories.'' Hades huffed. ''Are you not serious?'' I asked in disbelief. ''Do you know the myth of Cerberus?'' He asked. ''Of course. He's the Greek hellhound. It's one of the most famous myths'' I replied.

Slowly, deliberately, I opened it. Greek mythology. My breath caught. The cover was glossy and new. I flipped it open, the pages crisp beneath my fingertips, the scent of fresh paper and ink rising up, familiar and comforting. Only Damian knew. Only Damian knew how I’d always lost myself in these stories, gods and mortals, tragedies and triumphs, flawed heroes and inevitable endings. How I found comfort in myths that never pretended happy endings were guaranteed. A warmth spread through my chest, tender and bittersweet all at once.

He piled up the papers into a green folder and stepped out again. "Here. Make sure to finish them before coming to me, or at the very least, get past half those texts. We'd be starting with the Greek world." He handed the green folder to her, holding back the bite in his tone. "You at least have some knowledge of Greek mythology, don't you?" He asked fighting an eye roll at the thought of her not having heard of Greek mythology and being a history and archaeology major. "Yes I do, sir." "Good. We could get this over with faster." He mumbled, leaving her to speak with the door as he returned to the company of the golden fluid that has been more of a friend than any human could be.

It seemed like this room was useless. I walked to a book closest to me and opened it. 'Details about The God of Emotions.' Was the title. This would've been useful if I didn't already have all the information on all Gods and Goddesses. I set it down and rubbed the spines of all the books as I walked past them. They were brittle. I picked up another book. 'Details on teleporting." It read causing me to snap. I threw the book across the small room. I closed my eyes and tried to tell myself this was fine. Five books later and my anger was beyond tangible. You could feel the anger coming off of me.

Now it seems not to be the case. Thinking through her, she begins to tell her good friends about what Olympian gods might have. “Well… According to the legend. I know that they should have many monsters and beasts in control. Also… they should have a lot of goodies such as The Golden Fleece, Golden Apple, Aegis, Achilles Armor Etc.” Aurelia tries to list the artifact from the Greek Myth then she notices that it’s quite a long list so she brings out a tablet from her storage ring and starts to type all the lists as much as she could think of along with their abilities.

"It doesn't look like the monsters are easy to attack," I commented because even though I couldn't see the others, just thinking that there were many minotaurs and serpentines that I was sure was a big snake scared me.

I can’t see the whole title, but it is about gods and deities. ”I didn’t know you were interested in those kind of books, I thought you only love history books because that’s what I always saw you were reading.” I said to her still looking at the book. Weird. I don’t like that kind of book, but I think I wanna read them because of my weird dreams. A figment scattered dreams of mine that felt like true. I saw green eyes of a man and woman whose blurry in my dream, then I heard about god of I don’t know.
