Greek Mythology Echidna Novels & Stories

Alcmene’s voice fades into an echo as I try to understand what she is saying. “I don’t understand. Do you mean Zeus? THE Zeus, the Greek god who lives on top of a mountain? Thunderbolts and all that? No way. That’s not possible, those are just stories.” I send up a silent prayer to the goddess that this is some kind of initiation hoax played on everyone by their wolf. Alcmene scoffs and slows her pace to a walk.

We have to get her back. After a round of rushed introductions that I highly doubt Odysseus will remember, Xander cuts to the point. “Tell us about Briareus.” Odysseus sighs. “He’s one of the three Hecatoncheires—sons of Gaia and Uranus, uncles to the Olympians. Giants, each with fifty heads and a hundred arms. Monstrous in form, but they fought with the gods in the war against the Titans. Zeus holds them in high regard.”

He began to scroll through his collections of ancient books, catalogs, and tales looking for something that could give him enough data regarding Sophie's capacity, and luckily he found one. An ancient article about supernatural beings has been considered a myth and a fictional tale of the human race, and though none seems to bother to investigate the myths, they were nonetheless undisclosed to them as a fact. In Greek mythology, Gaia was the primordial goddess who personified the earth. She was an ancient Chthonic deity and was considered the Mother Goddess of all life. Gaia was also known as Mother Earth. However, in reality, she was the first ancient supernatural being who could wield the

Wisdom walks faster. Larisa looks at Wisdom and Einar thinking "Evil is coming out of the woodwork." She notices Kiri, Ruchi, and Idris staring at her. Hecate is a Power of magic Goddess. When it comes to her you don't know if she's on the side of good or evil. It depends on which side of the bed she got up on. As for Lamia, she's a vicious child eater. She was beautiful at one time and a queen. My father and she had an affair. that didn't sit well with Hera. To make a long story short. Hera killed her of the children she had with Zeus. Which caused Lamia to go insane and now she snatched children and devoured them."

𓅪 THE TALE OF ECHOR A few thousand years ago there were two worlds connected. This is the world of Earth and the world of Echor. The world of Echor has three types of creatures inhabited by Elves, Dwarves and Muggles. Meanwhile, on Earth there is a creature called man. Fun, abundant and full of laughter envelop the two worlds. But along with the change of time, so does the change of man's behavior. They learned to be greedy, to be selfish and to be oppressive.

Its body was snake-shaped and spiked, but its head had a human body: Echidna, a mother of monsters. "So that ugly monster, the treasure Jemma was referring to," said Jay. It was huge. I ran towards it, spinning randomly, making it dizzy. Again and again, the giant creature tried to run over me. Its purpose was to stomp on me because Jay and I were what it considered soul-disturbing pests. I pulled out a fiery dart and aimed at its eyes. "Ruby! Throw your darts at me so you don't get stepped on!" Jay shouted. You'll spill your jug, you noisy idiot.

I wasn’t totally up to speed on witches being able to shift into animals, but I knew there was no way they could last as long as a shapeshifter. Come out, come out wherever you are little Echidna. My Greek was rusty but I remembered a story I’d once read in my nerdy days about a half serpent half woman. It couldn’t have been less appealing to me, there was literally nothing about a snake that enticed me. Even its blood is repellant, and usually cold depending on where they live. No thanks! My eyes darted all over the abyss, the smell of sulfur still clinging to life even in the depths. Most of the sea life had moved away from the island, seeking shelter toward the mainland. I focused all my

Coiled at the throne’s base, half in shadow and half in suggestion, lay Echidna—Mother of Monsters—her scales the colour of extinguished coals, her human half draped in a gown that had learned the shape of night. Echidna’s tongue, dark and delicate, tasted the air. “A thread snaps,” she murmured. “One of ours.” Typhon’s voice rolled from the stone, low as tectonics. “The humans have prevailed over Gallus.” Ripples shivered across the lake. A wind slithered over the surface and died with a hiss. From a far tunnel came a sound like glass scraped by claws. Something was returning—fast, angry, uncomposed.
