“I’m not the only one being clingy up there, and by the way, you almost broke my hand.” Sunny chewed her lip but refused to apologize. “Your parents mentioned weddings and kids. It was a gut reaction.” Magnus stalked closer, towering over her petite frame until Sunny craned her neck to continue glaring at him. “Really?! Would it be so awful to be married to me, Miss Sunshine Sky? I think deep down, you would enjoy it so much. Maybe you even dreamed about it last night, and that’s how you wound up in my arms.” “You, smug bastard! You, arrogant prick!” Sunny spat, turning away from him to attempt to zip her dress.

Now she could speak freely. “What punishment should you get for what you and Japheth did to me?” Sunny asked. “Forgive me my lady.” “Someone once told me that this place has no humanity. so, how can you ask me to forgive you?”

I squinted up at her, my eyes full of curiosity. Jade just chuckled softly and chirped, flashing her trademark grin at me, "Ah, Sapphy, you know me! I'm always cheerful! Can't help it, it's just in my DNA, I guess." She shrugged, biting on an apple and taking a large chunk of it. And it was true; she had this ability to brighten up any room she walked into, effortlessly spreading joy wherever she went. Waking up this early is not something they are used to, and despite my prior notification yesterday that I would wake them up at this early time, and their excitement expressed last night, it will still be hard to wake them up, especially Skye, who still has a frown on their face. One of Skye’s inheritances from their sperm donor is always frowning and being grumpy.
