I smiled as she pulled me into a warm embrace.

When Janice noticed the indifferent Zach in the crowd, she rolled and crawled toward him like he was her life-saving straw, and she wanted to grab his leg to beg for help. However, before she could even grab the corner of Zach’s pants, another person had kicked her away. “Miss Sanders, you’re the same even after all these years. You can’t seem to get rid of the habit of coveting other men.” The voice belonged to the person who had questioned her earlier in the dark.
