Gwen X Duncan Novels & Stories

“Don. The Rinaldis just sent this.” He turned the screen toward me, it was a surveillance photo, grainy but unmistakable. It was a picture of Gwen leaving the hotel, with a red target circle over her face.

"Never refer to him that way." Duncan was about to reply with an apology or something of the sort when Drakken's door flew open. He almost groaned in annoyance seeing Gwendolyn by his corridor. He would've preferred anyone else's presence but hers. She never failed to show up at the most inconvenient times. "That would be all." Duncan took his leave to give them privacy, and Drakken wished he hadn't left him all alone with her. Gwendolyn's sly gaze ran over him behind his desk. She wore another one of her dresses that exposed a lot of skin in her chest and thigh area. "Should you not be in bed by this time of the night?"

"James, is your body something just any doctor can touch? Don't be so careless." Wanda's words pierced Gwen's heart, and her expression turned deeply unpleasant. "Mrs. Bronson Senior, not only am I a longtime friend of Chief Bronson, but I'm also his business partner. I run my own private clinic and research lab overseas and am a well-known cardiothoracic surgeon in Everport." Gwen pulled her business card from her purse and handed it to Wanda, adding, "My skills are no less than those of the doctors around Chief Bronson. So no, I'm not just 'any' doctor."

"Oh, hi there." "Hi," Gwen greeted him back, her green eyes locking onto him. "You must be the werewolf who completely shifted right on the hockey rink during that fight with Yates." Finn cleared his throat, looking a little embarrassed. "Uh, yeah. That was me." "Just so you know, I completely fainted at the sheer sight of it at the time, but I'm totally fine now. I'm already getting used to you guys turning into wolves," she said casually. "I'm Gwen Casteel, by the way." She extended her hand toward him.

I grabbed my bag and stood up. But just as I was about to leave, Jenny's phone dinged again. She read the message and her eyes widened. "Wait, there's... another opportunity, Miss." I arched a brow. "What is it?" Jenny looked up. "Grayford Creations just reached out. They want a collaboration with Jim Summerbell, Miss Gwen." I blinked, then turned fully to her. "The Grayford Creations fashion house?" She nodded. "Yes. And here's the catch, it was Mr. Lucas Grayford who reached out and emailed our company."

Dante I stood in the cold basement cell of the pack house, staring down at Gwen. She was chained to an iron chair in the middle of the dark room, her wrists locked in silver shackles. Her hair was a mess, and her face was pale as a ghost as she looked up at me with terrified eyes. "Dante, please!" Gwen sobbed out, her voice echoing off the concrete walls. "Why am I chained up down here? You have to let me go!"

"Duncan is a blind fool. He thinks he’s ruling an empire, but once we get rid of his pathetic omega wife, your family will control the board of directors. We will rule the South together, Katherine." The gray mist suddenly shattered into a thousand tiny pieces, dissolving back into the cold, damp air of the dungeon. Duncan severed the spiritual link, stumbling backward as a sharp wave of exhaustion hit his wounded body. Remus caught him by the elbow, helping him stay upright. Duncan’s silver eyes locked onto his cousin, Xavier, with a cold, dead finality. "The truth is out, Xavier," Duncan whispered, his voice shaking with a quiet fury. "You didn't just betray me. You defiled the sacred laws

This time Alexander curiosity was finally piqued as he raised his eyebrows and both of them gave Ash questioning looks. "So what's the full note all about, Ash?" "First off, a Donna is a title. The Donna bears a high rank in the Balck Wolf Clan world. Or maybe, just as what you said. This Donna might be the mole in the Clan. And, the note doesn't end there." Ash grabbed a piece of paper from his pocket and put it on the table. It was a piece of note where the handwriting was too similar. As if it was a part of the mysterious note.

The elders fell silent, each lost in their own thoughts. Duncan picked up the letter and read it one more time, looking for any answers that weren’t there. The Supreme Council had chosen Greywatch. The decision was made. The challenges ahead were immense. And Duncan still had no idea why. *** Gwen’s eyes snapped open at 7:15 AM.

She liked to read thriller novels and preferred romantic movies where she always cried at the end. She had light blue eyes with dark brown hair, and a smile for every person she encountered. She believed that the world was filled with people only trying to survive and that they were generally good. Her real name though was Charlotte Douglas and she had moved around quite a few times from Elko, Nevada before settling in Epworth almost five years ago. She had changed her name and worked at the diner for four years before buying it from Mr. Carlson who finally decided to retire at the age of seventy.
