Madame G directed me here.” Avita gazed at Nyarai with a slight smile on her face for a moment before responding. Seeing her anxiousness and darting eyes, she couldn’t help but smile warmly and answer her pleasantries, “It’s nice to meet you as well. Let’s go inside and have a great chat.”

It was concerning if she, as a vampire, could digest human food with no repercussions. Sakura takes pleasure in the way her lips curve in a disgusted sneer. “That is not the name I gave you”. She places her spoon on her napkin with a frown. “Hana is a name more suitable for a well-trained omega…not that vulgar name you’ve picked”. “What do you have against cherry blossoms?”. She knows how much that question would annoy her, and she takes pleasure in it. “One would think you’re not really Japanese with the way you act”.

“What’s its name?” “Aki,” I said. “He’s a Havanese. He found Toby first.” The woman got down to her knees and reached out to stroke Aki’s head. “Thank you for finding Toby.” Aki stuck out his tongue and wagged his tail. He looked damn pleased. When she stood again, she said, “I’m Sakura. What’s your name?” Sakura? As in the Japanese Sakura? As in cherry blossom Sakura? I must admit the name fit her perfectly.
