Hailey agreed to my request so quick that my jaw dropped. Gazing at her clear and innocent eyes, I couldn't help but start doubting my judgment. Maybe she wasn't the cunning type I pegged her as? Just as I was on the fence about speaking up, I got a mind-link from Grandpa. He scolded me for leaving Hailey right after the mating ceremony, his growl earsplitting. 'Damn it, Hailey must've snitched on me,' I complained to myself, hating her even more.

I placed my hand on my chest and looked straight into her eyes, "I swear by my Alpha title, I believe you Hailey." Hailey stared at me for a moment and after sometime, she swallowed and then said, "it was Malachi. He harassed me."

Confused and not knowing what to do, she gently stroked my back. "Why are you crying? What happened?" she asked worriedly. I let go of her and she immediately wiped the tears from my eyes. "L-Liam ... H-He's gone ..." Shakira's eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. "Hailey?! What... When else did he die?!" she asked in shock. I was stunned. "D-Die...?" Suddenly, blood gushed up her throat and she couldn't help but to vomit on the floor. The blood turned the carpet red. Nikolai left her for Agnes, again.... Hailey thought, what was I trying to do just now? She actually expects Nikolai to believe her and doubt Agnes....it was very silly of her to have high hopes of winning him back.

She forgot about her mother sleeping just a few rooms away. She only knew that the man she was supposed to hate was making her see stars. Hailey was a low mess of moans. She tried to follow his rule, but small, broken sounds escaped her throat with every flick of his tongue. He kept his pace steady, refusing to let her finish too quickly. He wanted her desperate. He wanted her begging for the end.
