HOW I TAMED THE PLAY BOY

HOW I TAMED THE PLAY BOY

" Even though she had moved away, I could still feel her arms about me and her touch on my face. The significance of Hamlet's words had a greater impact on me than the collision with Holder's automobile: "To sleep, perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub; For in that sleep of death what dreams may come, When we have shuffled off this mortal coil, Must give us pause: There's the respect, That makes calamity of so long a life." I was under the impression that the only thing that truly counted was making sure Sharon was safe. The time has come to find out what happens next.

The king of Ashes

The king of Ashes

She had handed me a key, and I had no idea what lock it would open. I flipped to the twentieth page of Hamlet. My eyes scanned the text, the familiar words of tragedy taking on a new, sinister meaning. And there it was. A pinprick. A tiny, almost imperceptible hole punched through a single word, so small it could easily be mistaken for a flaw in the paper. Betrayal.

The tension between Alessandro and Isabella is ... right from the start, and I love how she’s defiant instead of just scared. It’s steamy, full of power plays, and already has some crazy drama going on. Only a few chapters in, but it’s addictive…def giving me those late-night read. 4.5/5 so far.

Cinderella, Queen of Rats

Cinderella, Queen of Rats

Taking the book from Alma, she found a passage from William Shakespeare's Hamlet; "To be, or not to be, that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles And by opposing end them." To be or not to be Queen, that is the question. She read the passage out loud to Alma, "To die, to sleep; To sleep, perchance to dream—" She was cut off by the Prince who had entered the room and finished the passage for her,

To Love A Vampire

To Love A Vampire

he called and then held the door open for us to walk in. Hannah pulled the note out again, giving it a brief skim. "I'll be in the back experiencing betrayal, death, heartbreak, and tragic love. All that is not mine to behold," Hannah breathed out heavily as she walked to the back of the library. She looked at all the titles above the shelves as she walked and then she stopped at the leisure reading section. English literature. "I don't think she meant Garret was in here." Hannah moved to the Shakespeare section and pulled out a book. "Romeo and Juliet." She flipped through the pages of the book and then slid the book back on the shelf when she found nothing. She looked again carefully and t

To love a beast was good, but this one was even better! So captivating/intriguing, and beautiful character progression throughout. Such a good mix of suspense and drama but lighthearted laughter/comedy. Super excited for the next! Amazing job author! :) Author, when will the next book be on here?

Through Love and Instinct

Through Love and Instinct

I said in a very low whisper like voice and left him there standing by himself. I could feel my heart racing, my hands somehow trembling for whatever the reason. Anger? Fear? I don't really understand, but I don't like the way Hamlet talked to me or called Shaun. But one thing is sure, whatever Hamlet meant by doing that, stopping me and talking to me like that has something to do with Shaun and I being together, the training and his suspicion of Priam and Silver. Hamlet is the kind of man who is hard to fool. He relies on his own senses and observation. He observes people like a butcher would do to his prey.

Naughty Nikki: A Billionaire Romance

Naughty Nikki: A Billionaire Romance

She’s speechless. I merely recap, verbatim, “The descent into darkness by an antihero in Macbeth. The comedic relief of Much Ado About Nothing. The intensity of Othello. The romanticism and tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, of course. And the magical fantasy of The Tempest. Then... There’s the madness of Hamlet.” “I—” Words apparently fail her. So I give a shrug and modestly say, “They’re not first editions or from the original Globe, but they are from the Globe.”
