“Stonehollow’s bleeding. You both took out most of their hired muscle within the last 48 hours. Their top dogs are still out trying to bring in more backers,” His chuckle sends shivers down my spine with the edge of violence laced in. “I have a feeling they’ll be licking their wounds for a while.”
“But it doesn’t mean they’re done, or that they’re willing to let us go,” I finish for him, pulling back to rest my cheek on his chest and look at the others.
