The Threshold started collapsing immediately. Chunks of the world itself broke apart around us, falling upward into the darkness above. A body that seemed made from shifting void and dying stars. And at its center, a massive glowing fracture pulsed like an heartbeat. The Harbinger. The Architect lowered its head before the creature in total submission. The little girl backed away toward the silver door.

I feel my heart thundering berserkly in my chest at the memory of her face morphing and twisting in fury, the baby blue turned blood-red eyes, and the sinister expression that told me she was ready to killl in a blink of an eye. "Vampire." Hunter blurts. Again, as if he knows exactly what's running in my head every damn minute, in every fucking second. And he's not even looking at me! How on earth does he do that? "Scarlet Tate is the only hybrid werewolf in the Wintermist Pack. She's the Alpha's daughter, so you better not underestimate her or you'll be dead before graduation." He warns. I look up and stare at his devilishly handsome face, his amber eyes cold and serious.

" Malakai smirked when he thought of the answer. "We're ghosts baby." Malakai responded and Eden wanted to laugh, but she was so confused at the same time. "Huh? The fuck do you mean?" Eden said and looked up to see a mischievous glint in her boyfriend's eyes. "I have someone, a hacker, his name is Rhys. He'd remove everyone's DNA, their information and everything there is about them off the systems of the world. When you joined the agency, he did the same. In short, we don't exist little one." Malakai said and Eden's eyes widened. She never knew the extent to which Malakai could go.
