“If you touch her, you will die.” The figure laughed, a chilling sound that resonated deep within. “You cannot halt what has already commenced.” Aria advanced despite Rowan’s outstretched arm. “Why are you doing this? Who sent you?” The figure lifted a hand, causing the moonlight to quiver as if responding to their command. “I am simply the Harbinger,” they stated. “The one designated to weaken the bond… so that the true heir may emerge.” Rowan’s gaze darkened. “There is no heir that demands our blood.”

She was so engrossed in paying back that she forgot to say thanks. “Thank you for stepping in today, even though it wasn't necessary,” said Wanda. “Necessary? That man was clearly bullying you into paying his entire shopping list” Silas scoffed “I was handling it” Wanda looked away, rubbing her reddened wrist,” Silas noticed it and said with a sigh “I can prescribe an ointment for that” Wanda said nothing in return. She couldn't believe herself thinking that maybe he had taken a liking to her as James had warned, but then she remembered the name Fiona Hart and quickly brushed off the thought.

She picks up a knife from the table, dips it into a blood-filled bowl, and trails it across our foreheads. My heart leaps. Whose blood is that? Is it human? Or animal? “Now, both of you repeat after me,” she says. She begins chanting, her tone and words making my head spin. Different oaths are spoken. Finally, we’re told to stand. I do, Tristan too. “Now the consummation shall begin.” Suddenly, some big men step forward, grab me, and I scream. The sound tears from my throat—loud and raw. They start dragging me away. Tristan stands still.

When the man began talking, it felt like he was covering her body in warm honey. "I must apologize to you. I'm Alpha Gunnar of The Shadow Howlers. My head warrior showed me evidence that you had been kidnapping humans. When I looked closer at the evidence, I couldn't determine if what he said was true, so I wanted to do more investigating. Omar?" Alpha Gunnar looked at the warriors, and the large one in front stepped forward, his neck bare in submission. "Yes, alpha." He answered in more of a growl. "Why have you set out to destroy this pack?" Gunnar asked. However, it wasn't Omar who answered.

Fortunately, someone shoves me out of their way, breaking me from the spell. I glance sideways to see that it's Landon Kitler – just another person I haven't seen in a while. Clearly, life hasn't been too good to him either. He's mumbling curses beneath his breath, as usual, as he slams open the door of the bar with an aggression that is petrifying. He fails to notice me, as well as the other eyes he's attracted, fearfully watching him. He somehow misses all the people jumping out of the way for him. It's like he's unaware of the power he holds. People are terrified of him.

They approached as though they had all the time that had ever existed, and perhaps they did. Kael stood beside me, his gaze fixed on the approaching shadows. The bond between us tightened instinctively because we were preparing for battle. Because every instinct inside us recognized danger. The Voidborn remained completely focused on the fracture. For the first time since its awakening, it was not the most powerful presence in the room, and it knew it. “What are they?” it asked. The Last Witness remained silent for several moments. Its ancient eyes never left the distant shapes. Finally, it answered. “They are called the Harvesters.” The name spread through the frozen universe.

I scream at him when he flings her away. “They will all die!” he snarls out. The Harbinger has been unleashed and I can’t stop him. Fuck! Damn you Fate!

he chuckled. He stood in front him and said out everything that was supposed to be known to him only aloud "I will kill him and take over the woman I have always had eyes on and that of his deal when it's stricks" he said. "buss.... All this for woman" he asked. "Look you won't understand but let me tell you, there's a deal Arthur bet his huge amount of money on and with his wife, haha, I found out that he filled in his wife next to getting the money if at all anything happens to him.

Harbingers, divine ones, with a number enough to make up a small army, were bombarding the planet’s shields. “Ko'vren, switch to assault mode.” X finally spoke as he tapped a circular orb at the centre of the command deck. A hologram appeared, showing all the harbingers and the gentry defenders. He turned to me. “Take the wheel”, he said as he stood up and went to the door. “I need you to draw their attention while I kill them off with the annihilation spell.” He touched his chest and an emerald glow surrounded him. “Seriously man, can’t I get to fight one of them?” I sit in the chair and lock on to them. “They’re rare, you know.” X's eyes glowed as his hair turned pure white.
