"My name is Harleen Quinn, but my friends call me Harley," she replied, extending a hand. Her friend now stood beside her, tapping her foot impatiently. "Harley, we've got to go." Her friend pointed toward the old metal clock mounted in the stairwell, its hands ticking steadily toward the hour. "Well, I have to go," Harley said, a hint of reluctance in her voice. She had her blonde hair packed up in two and had on a purple crop shirt with a crazy looking pant, my mouth fell agape staring at her and I could see Laila with the same reaction on her face. “Hi, I wanna see Damian Rogan” she said as she smiled sheepishly towards us both, we both stood still staring at her like we had seen a character from a horror movie. “Harley Quinn!!” That was all I could say underneath my breath “Yeah” she said, now looking from me to Laila. “Ohhh” Laila managed to voice out, “Do you have any appointment with him?” “Nah, tell him the bartender he slept over at her place some while ago, he's gonna know”

Over the crest of the hill, headlights appear. Two. Then four. Then ten. Then twenty. A wall of light descends the ridge. The roar becomes deafening. It drowns out the whine of my Ducati.
