Even though it's just a fist, Harry believes there is a special power that can paralyze anyone who is hit. I hated what I was about to do, but I needed to lie to him a bit. Once I could explain everything, I would beg him to forgive me. If he did not then I could understand. However, I would continue trying to earn his forgiveness for however long it took, even if that happened centuries down the road. “Hypothetically, is there a way for someone’s access to magic to be dampened or bound?”

I turned abruptly and grabbed his shirt, zapping him again. “Fuck! Ouch!” “What are you doing?” Brad’ arms went to my shoulders as he pulled me back against his chest. I felt the magic still running uneasily inside of me. Henry’s hair was a little mussed and possibly smoking. His eyes were thunderous. I sank into Brad and heard his soft groan as my ass met up with the fly of his pants. “I’m sorry!” I swallowed hard, “I really didn’t mean to. I think my magic needs a release; it’s been restrained for too long.”

His eyes reminded me of a puppy. I smiled. "Yeah, for like, two hours." "Then how many hours does a guy need to get your number?" He fished out his cell phone, probably going to Google it up, so I quickly added, "by reading the book, without searching the Internet, and I'd give you my number."

“I have you Willow. I’ll be there soon.” “What?” I ask. “How?” “I can feel you. Our bond. It’s calling to me.” “They’re blocking it.” “Yes, and we broke through their magic. Keep doing what you’re doing.” I can’t feel it. But then, I haven’t been able to feel much of anything aside from panic and fear since I woke up in this particular hellhole. They’re blocking my magic, but it’s more than that – it’s my own terror holding me back, making it even more difficult for me to concentrate on using my magic.

I would make whatever deal was necessary to bring her back, I didn’t care the price, nor the consequence. I tried to materialize to Rayne, but I was blocked. Flora reassured me. "What do I fucking do before the bitch kills me?" "You can unbind her magic on you," Flora replied simply. Unbind her magic? How the hell was I supposed to do that? "Liberum Vinculum," Flora said. I recalled seeing the spell in the spell book. "Liberum Vinculum" was a spell to break free from invisible bonds. Though there were several other spells, I doubted I could remember them in my current state. I was grateful that Flora had paid attention while I was reading through the spell book.

That was why the Dark Circle needed all four of the phoenix stones and they needed my magic to unleash it. I was given back access to my magic, but the pyramid symbol on my wrist was restricting my magic, so I had to get rid of it. I was surprised it worked, but I had my mother's blood flowing in my veins, and she was right. I had to stop limiting myself. I created a spell that lifted the effect of the pyramid magic on me without those bastards knowing. And I undid the spell binding Adie, setting her free within the walls of my mind.
