Bound to the Villain who craves me

Bound to the Villain who craves me

Another hand was raised in a second. “Go on,” Prof Odessa nudged. “Spell books are heavy to carry around. Does that mean they have to take it everywhere to do magic?” “Well,” Prof Odessa cleared her throat, closing her teaching box with everything she had brought out earlier completely in. “Due to advanced magic, you could shrink a spell book and turn it into a metal necklace.” My memory went back to that night with Kamari. She had touched that small silver book necklace around her neck before she pushed the table towards me. Was she perhaps a siphon? The other girl who had blocked my view of Kai had that exact necklace too, the black-colored version.

Song of the Winter Solstice

Song of the Winter Solstice

The third, her presence regal, arranged a sumptuous feast upon the nearby table, beside which I perched. My voice remained unvoiced as she removed the offering before I could even catch its scent, replaced by a smoke that billowed from her ring—a glowing emblem of magic, marking her as a mage. My thoughts raced as I observed the arcane spectacle. A tendril of smoke hurled toward me, catching me off guard, only to dissipate upon contact with my skin. A rush of energy coursed through me, rekindling my strength, banishing numbness, and igniting a renewed vitality. Pupils dilated, I gazed at the conjurer who seemed oblivious to the transformation she had wrought.

Iridian

Iridian

‘Is this part of your magic? ‘Mm, you’re the one assuming. But no, it’s a part of our bond. The first sign it’s growing, actually.’ He sounded so pleased with himself, radiating this male smugness that made me curl my lip. ‘Mate bonds are a bit more intense when magic’s involved.’ No kidding, I thought dryly. His eyes were black holes that threatened to swallow me completely. ‘Can you hear my thoughts?’ I asked, my stomach dropping as I stared blankly at the textbook in front of me.

Amy
Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.
Therese Dahlqvist
The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

Christmas in ashes

Christmas in ashes

The altar is a massive slab of stone carved with overlapping circles, stars, and wreath symbols—the kind I’ve seen in nightmares I always assumed were stress-induced. It glows faintly red, pulsing in slow, steady breaths. My throat tightens. “It’s alive.” Lucien nods grimly. “It’s sentient magic. It responds to the vessel’s presence.” A shiver slams through my bones.“So it’s reacting to me.” “Yes.” Wonderful. I’m literally turning on haunted Christmas furniture with my proximity. Milo tugs my sleeve. His tiny voice trembles: “It knows you.” I kneel beside him. “Do you?”

Running from My Mate

Running from My Mate

"Eliot said magic can manipulate our senses. It makes someone feel something isn't there. Otherwise, they feel something shouldn't have been there. It might be the case why I did feel nothing when Eve was intimate with someone else." I was silent again while sinking everything. Okay. It made sense. There was no pain or scars. But there was one more question. "Then she might tell the truth. Someone raped her, and you couldn't feel it because magic prevented you from sensing it." "I agree with your last statement, but not the first one. Eliot also told me such kind of magic only works if the person gives the witch Eve and my belongings, like hair or blood, to put into the cast. And it needs a

The Triplet's Bullied Mate

The Triplet's Bullied Mate

My thoughts were too loud, too sharp, ricocheting around my skull like trapped birds. Magic pulsed beneath my skin. Not just a faint hum, but a distinct thrumming, a vibrant, almost sentient energy. It felt restless, coiled, like a magnificent beast stirring from a long slumber. It was watching, I knew it. Watching me. Waiting. Every breath I took seemed to ripple with it—like the magic wasn’t just a part of me anymore, but awake, fully sentient. Listening. Hungry. A new kind of hunger, not for power, but for release, for expression. The subtle vibrations seemed to echo the unsettling words Caelum had spoken, about my power needing to be unleashed, about it being too much for this place, for

Strings of Fate

Strings of Fate

I really need to steal someone’s phone and find out what the hell they’re all saying about me in this text chain. “Uh… yeah. Well anyway, eventually you can learn to resist Harry’s magic, but that will take some time. It’s part of why Incubi tend to struggle with relationships, they overwhelm people. But… is it really so bad? I had to distance myself from him as a teenager because I definitely DIDN’T need to feel whatever it was he was feeling about me at the time. But would a little extra insight be so bad in your case? Particularly since you apparently feel the same way about him anyway. It might make your emotions more intense, but if you didn’t actually feel those emotions they wouldn’t

I read all the comments before I start reading a book. With the number positive reviews, I was honestly waiting to be disappointed. I'm very happy to say that it is one of my favorite reads now. I was hooked from the first chapter. Loved it, well done dear Author <3

Seriously one of the best books on this app! The author has a way with stringing different characters' stories together (pun intended, I guess) and made me laugh, gush, and keep me on the edge of my seat.

My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby

My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby

“It’s not like I wanted it. I don’t even know if I can call it power. It feels… alive. And sometimes it feels like it’s not even mine.” “What do you mean?” he asked softly. I hesitated. “When it moves, I can feel it think. Not in words, but in feeling. It’s like—it’s aware of me. It doesn’t obey exactly. It just… chooses to help me.” Derek’s jaw tightened. “You’re saying it has a will of its own.” I met his gaze. “Yes.” He exhaled sharply and dragged a hand through his hair. “That’s dangerous, Aurelia. You’re talking about sentient magic—something that can turn on you if it decides to.”

The Alpha's Replacement Bride

The Alpha's Replacement Bride

Liam reminded Harriet of something inside her mind. “Ah!” Harriet jolted up from her seat. She opened a portal and walked fast inside it, only to come out once more while holding something. In her hand was a device. It was a magic device she made to read others’ minds, mainly to communicate and interrogate Cecilia. “I learned that Mana reacts strongly to a will, and that’s how people do Magic. Something with sentiency would always have a will, and they would be able to influence Mana.”

A Dark Touch

A Dark Touch

"They're going to kill you." "They won't be able to land a finger on me," she said, venom dripping from her words. She dragged at Harlow's thigh. "Now, what we haven't figured out is how these two are capable of Magic. How they're able to control minds, send guards flying through the air, and boil their blood." Her eyes narrowed as she became serious. "That's beyond ordinary, Harlow. That's not safe; it's extremely dangerous. No one- not one creature - should be that powerful."
