I blast another stream of fire at the king and light my hand with fire, holding the chancellor while he burns and watching as the king falls to his knees, screaming in agony as the earth settles around us again. I drop the chancellor’s body when he stops fighting and I watch as Merellien walks through the burning fire to where King Folwin was sitting when we walked in.
