I laid in the bedroom while studying Phoenixs’ old school books. I practiced a few small spells and while trying a light spell but next thing I knew...boom! Phoenix opened the door and coughed from the smoke, “Selene, what are you doing?” He coughed out, I looked at him from my spot on the bed; when the smoke cleared, Phoenix stared at me then started laughing,

"Are you OK?" I smiled faintly. "Still not dead yet." Harvey helped me with the fire; the smell of cigarettes made me feel like I was drowning in that illusory smoke. I have given up smoking for a long time and did not expect to find it again today to forget the grief. The cigarette I held between my fingers was about to burn to the flesh; I wouldn't have noticed if Harvey hadn't warned me. I let out a breath and then brought it to my lips to take a breath, feeling a little better mentally.

“ I guess you guessed wrong Sir. The young Miss is quite resilient and obstinate. She's like glass, break her and you're the one who's bleeding.” “ Glass? I really don't mind trying to break her, Storm. Keep an eye on her, she will be back sooner than you expect. I have my ways, you know.” He resumed smoking and the atmosphere in the room changed as the smell of cigarettes filled the air. To Harry, if felt good like the smell of burnt coffee but Storm was no fan of cigarettes. It was some stale odour that he never seemed to fancy and he would try to leave the moment the room gets stuffy with the lethargic smell of it.

She snaps our fingers again and the smoke from the fire turns purple. "It's so no one can see the smoke. We only can" she said in my head before retreating. "Holy goddess, who was awesome," Harmon said, high fiving me. Samael was beaming at me. Zoey was rolling her eyes as if unimpressed and Xavier looked at me questionably.

The guards around the cells looked agitated and left almost immediately, now I was getting agitated. The thick smell of smoke reached the cells and I knew there was trouble. Who would have attacked this pack? Soon a rogue that smelt like rotten fish came in sight and chuckled darkly at the sight of us and poured petrol all over the ground then dropped a match stick and walked out. The fire erupted and was everywhere before we could blink. The thick smoke that emanated made us all cough hard and struggle to breath. I needed to do magic or I would die. “Hetre imbrule wredek.” I whispered slowly and the smoke began to dissipate and I crawled towards the door.

“Very well.” She tilts her head to her left. With a flick of her thin, bony wrist, a thick plume of smoke suddenly descends from the sky. I hold my breath as the burning acrid smell fills my lungs, doing my best not to cough. The smoke tightens into an impenetrable coil that blocks out any glimpse of what could possibly be inside. And then, all of a sudden, the smoke clears away. “What is this?” I gasp out in horror.

​I hold the black leaf over the fire. ​It doesn't burn like normal foliage. It immediately begins to melt, hissing and popping as a thick, dark smoke spirals upward. The smell is atrocious—like burning hair and rotting meat. ​I inhale the smoke deeply, choking on the vile magic. My eyes roll back in my head, the marble bathroom fading away.

I ran past the sculpture and down the narrow passage, hearing footsteps behind me but not caring enough to turn around. My vision blurred, making it almost impossible to see clearly or judge distances accurately. I quickly covered my nose when I saw the black smoke moving in sinuous, swirling patterns, almost like liquid darkness. It had a shimmering, oily quality, reflecting the faint light from Stalagtor’s luminescent eyes. Though the smoke was primarily black, it occasionally pulsed with eerie glows of deep purples and greens, hinting at a supernatural energy and ancient magic. Even after covering my nose, it was difficult for me to slow down my breath.

Sara assured him that Ami won't be able to see the white smoke. "Since she won't be able to see the smoke. She will inhale it without any doubt. After that she will be attracted to you," she continued. "so, whoever inhales the smoke can be mine for a lifetime," Alex asked. "No, Master. only in your presence, the smoke will work. For example, if you suddenly disappear from this place the smoke will stop working on her. It will remain in her body. Only when you are near her, the smoke will work again," Sara explained.

He rested his back comfortably against the chair, crossed his legs with an air of sophistication, and gently flipped his long hair to the back in his usual style. He reached for his pocket, brought out a large wrap of weed stick, and a lighter. Igniting the weed, he started to smoke, puffing the smoke directly into my face; I nearly choked. He seemed to unlock new characteristics every moment. I remember Liam doesn't drink; how could he be the one puffing this robust wrap of weed?
