He stood by the door and waited for Harry to finish his business and notice him, holding open the door for the two pretty young girls who left clutching woven baskets and giggling behind their hands, before strolling through the crowded aisles to where Harry finished recording his sales into the ledger.
“What are you doing here?” Thaelen laughed, shaking his head. Harry looked the part in a neat waistcoat and trouser set, a chain running from a brooch to a breast pocket revealing the presence of a pocket piece, and their long hair tied back at the nape of their neck with a piece of black felted ribbon.
Harry looked up with a delighted smile. “Wasting time, of course, whilst waiting for you.”
