Then Swayer shook off the gloves and stood in front of me.
"Now, when | swing, you duck, alright?" he said.
| rolled my eyes at the easy drill and every time he swung, | ducked my head or under his arm.
"Good, Sweetheat, now let's see if you know some basic moves..." Swayer said.
"Jab! Hook! Uppercut!" He kept yelling over and over, sometimes switching up the order to throw me off.
"Slip!" | inclined my head to let his fist sail past and miss. "Good! Now right cross!" On and on we went for the rest of the evening. Him yelling out random but not so-random moves or blocks and me dodging or hitting him.
