RIVALING HEARTS

RIVALING HEARTS

How could we when we had just met just a few months ago and the relationship had started barely one week later. It was like love at first sight. Well, more like mating at first sight. Neither of us could deny or resist the mating heat after the day we met, stared each other in the eyes and realized that we were mates. I took a deep breath, trying to steady my emotions, and stared at the test one more time. This little stick held the power to change our lives forever. I had to tell him. Now. I couldn’t wait longer or bear the tension. No no not at all.

The Mafia King’s Pawn

The Mafia King’s Pawn

“But you’ve spent the last ten years trying to destroy him—in this internecine battle. If you truly have forgotten he existed, why do you keep trying to get in his way? Why are you hell bent on clashing with him?” “Internecine?” “Mutually destructive.” “Ah.” My lips tugged up at the edges. “Well. Our rivalry has certainly been that. We’ve both lost millions of dollars bidding up the same targets for acquisition, sabotaging each other, planting rumors, secret backstabbing. We have killed people who work for each other in attempt to crush one another. All of which Andrei deserves. But I can hardly expect him just to take it without fighting back. I can hardly expect him to let me win without p

Hired by my family Rival

Hired by my family Rival

“You weren’t hiding it well.” “I wasn’t trying to hide it,” she whispered. “I just didn’t want you to hear it.” He stepped closer again. This time she didn’t move. His breath was warm on her neck. Rachel’s breath hitched. He reached for the burn touching it tenderly but then stopped . Her hands trembled against her stomach, fists clenched in her blouse. She felt heat rise through her—not from pain this time, but from something far more dangerous. She turned halfway toward him, eyes catching his in the low lamp light.

Broken by One, Desired by All

Broken by One, Desired by All

And then our eyes had met. Something had clicked. Not friendship. Not respect. Hatred. Pure, unadulterated hatred. Because Miles had seen me... really seen me, and he had known, in that instant, that I was his rival. And I had known the same. We had clashed from the very beginning. Every test. Every trial. Every damned assignment. If I was first, he was second, and vice versa. If I won a duel, he challenged me to another. If he proved himself in combat, I pushed myself harder, faster, stronger. It had been a war... one without bloodshed, but no less brutal for it.

I usually don’t do reviews however I feel like this book may get overlooked. I didn’t know how I would feel reading this book at first but the author has a fantastic way of writing which is easy to read and picture. I think the romantic relationships in this book is more tasteful than I expected!

THE HIDDEN RIVAL

THE HIDDEN RIVAL

“You’ve sold.” I leaned on the doorframe, smirk pulling at split lips. “Not my job to sell.” He chuckled, soft, shaking his head. “Everything is about selling. Pain, spectacle, survival. You—” he pointed with the tip of his pen—“are worth more in blood than ten of those other mongrels combined.” I said nothing. Let him hear only my breathing. He leaned forward, voice low, dangerous: “You’re not just another fighter anymore, Rival. You’re the attraction. The bets don’t move without your name on the slate. You’re not sharpening yourself in the pit. You’re carrying it.”

Claimed by His Rival

Claimed by His Rival

"It's not her fault." Of course, it wasn't her fault. It was mine. My mistake was being too strong, making him feel threatened. My mistake was being too loyal, letting him take me for granted. My mistake was believing an Alpha and a Beta could ever find true love. "You think I'll just obey? Like I always do?" I stood up and walked toward his desk. It was covered in trophies and awards, every single one of them earned through my victories. The most prominent was a crystal trophy—"Blackwood Pack's Strategist of the Year."

His Dead Wife: No Longer the Surrogate Bride

His Dead Wife: No Longer the Surrogate Bride

But his eyes still burned not in defeat. It burned with promise. This rivalry was not ending tonight since it had been forged too long and too deep. “You think this is over?” Aurelio taunted as he stood up and spat blood on the floor. “This is just the continuation, Dominic.” Dominic stepped back, weapon raised but not fired. “I’m not stupid.” He replied. “Your move, Aurelio.” Because their war had never truly been about succession. It had always been about legitimacy. And neither man was willing to surrender it.

he muttered. I stayed quiet, and so did Arda and the rest. “K3, can I sniff your uniforms?!” “I’m counting on you to win the next basketball match!” The shouting only got louder, and the girls were practically melting. Even the guys stared at the K3 with admiration. Well, what did I expect? In this school, the K3 were treated like royalty, though only my roommates and a few others knew how pretentious they really were. Drake, Jeff, and Dray made up the famous trio.

His Return, My Ruin

His Return, My Ruin

She flinches, but I press on. “You need a challenge,” I say. “An equal. Someone who won’t tame you or smooth you down for comfort. The part of you that you hide, the part you’re ashamed of—that part is beautiful, Tasha. With Isaac, you’re like a wax doll. Perfect. Untouched. Cold. But you have fire in you. So much of it. Just choose me, and everything will fall into place.” My voice drops, rough with conviction. “You could turn the whole world against you, and I would still fight by your side.”
