Damned Straight to Heaven
I’m deeper still.
The smell is rancid as I descend the steps into a damp and cloyingly warm chamber sitting past that first picturesque mausoleum. A pentagram is burned into the earth here, and I mean it is actively alight and glowing, like cherry red coals in a fire. Stood inside is a thrashing mass of what looks like tar and shadow and crimson eyes – Even with Ashmedai in control, my body vomits at the sight of it, the feel of him--
“Daniel,” Christian softly calls. He’s stood trapped in the center of that pentagram, glowing with heavenly light. The demonic mass is nowhere to be seen, but I know that thing is still lurking here, right behind Christian's breathtaking, stolen image.
