Hazel's POV I had the most wonderful dream. A type that I had never had. I think sandman stepped up his game in trying to override Santa Claus and other guardians like Jack Frost, Easter Bunny, tooth fairy, and all the others, and trust me, I would give him an eleven out of ten - yes, an extra mark because he really deserved it. The dream felt too real and too good to be true. He was Mr. Y—the man who sang off-key love songs to me at midnight, and the very same one who had chastised me relentlessly in the day. I stared at him. His handsome face was so close, and the usual coldness and distance were gone, replaced by a fragile, pleading vulnerability. The light in his eyes flickered like a candle tossed all night by a stormy wind.

“Are you sure it’s one and the same?” “Yes. And I’ve been getting the same dream ever since.” “Tell me about it.” I shake my head at the ground, on the verge of tears. I do not want to admit this but the dream has spooked me. I clench my fingers in Helios’ hand and take in a shaky breath. It is time to spill my heart. So I tell him everything, leaving out not a single detail and in silence, Helios listens to my story. “Udbhava,” he whispers when I finish recounting the details of my nightmare.
