- THE HIDEOUT ROMAN’S POV The hideout is hidden inside an unassuming convenience store, the kind you’d walk past without a second glance. Fluorescent lights hum faintly above our heads, casting sterile glows across shelves stacked with dusty snacks and cheap energy drinks. From the outside, it’s ordinary. From the inside, it hums with quiet tension. This place houses both Souls and Believers; a mix which makes it perfect for us to blend in. The cashier’s eyes follow us the moment we step through the door. He’s calm, polite even, but there’s something about the stillness in his gaze that gives him away. Believer.

The second guy said. "What do you mean by that?".The first guy asked. "I always sneak out every night to have some drinks when you guys are busy doing the watchmen".The second guy answered smiling at the first guy who was shocked after hearing what he said. "You do sneak out to have some drinks?.How do you do that and where do you normally go?".The first guy asked. "I'm going to tell you,but you must promise to keep it a secret between us.There's a bar in a small village located at the end of the river,that's the place I do visit to have some drinks every night".The second guy answered.

She paused for a while to playfully salute Vale before strolling out. Vale stood up and put his hands to his pockets, “I heard you filed a mandatory leave. And I found out you’re planning to go North to hike. So, I decided to join,” he sounded as if invited. At this point, Einille knew that Shari had sold her to this devil. Einille rolled her eyes. Her patience with this man was running out. Maybe he was born naturally numb. She simply wanted alone time to contemplate everything. Now she would deal with another nuisance.

Angel replied “Remember, long story. I tell you what, you come for dinner tonight and I’ll tell you everything.” Jay seemed to debate as if mentally checking his schedule before he said, “Okay sure, give me the address and I’ll be there.” Angel asked curiously “You got a car, or you are taking a cab?” Jay laughed and said, “I’ve got a ride, what do you live in the boondocks, Houston isn’t that big.” Angel replied honestly “I don’t live in Houston; I live in a gated estate outside Houston.”

They love it, buying a house away from all the New York noise and settling for a beautiful home out in the country. "Ok, I guess it's time we make our way out before we lose our plane. You guys ready? Say bye to mom and dad?" Loretta says to Aiden and Emily. They stand, Aiden is a bit reluctant to turn off his game until Jake gives him the look. He gets serious, but honestly Aiden has just as big of a temper as he does. Aiden turns off his console and walks towards us.

The woman behind the door sounded weak and in pain. "Are you okay?" Freya asked. She didn't know why the lady was in the room at her young age; she thought it was just a coincidence that the lady was inside the room hiding like her. "Can you open the door, please?" She planned to hide in the room too, so that her father wouldn't find her. She would just go out if her brother would come back to the country. Her brother was in Australia to study; it was her father's decision.

And with that she knew. "Emerald Taylor," she said mostly to herself but he heard nevertheless. Looking up at him, he nodded, concluding her statement. Instantly opening her door wider, she beckoned him inside, which he quickly did. Closing and locking the cabin door, she easily snapped her fingers to which candles all around the room were lit. This made him confused. "I suspect that this conversation is confidential," Malena said. "Therefore I have put up a barrier so no one can hear us." He was grateful and he soon placed Emerald on the couch. "What do you need me for you child?"

"There’s so much to see! I have to show you all my favorite places!" Kayla followed closely behind, her excitement growing as they ventured from one place to another. They visited Caleb’s secret hideout in the woods, a small, quiet spot surrounded by tall trees that provided a sense of peace and adventure all at once. Next, they stopped by the lake, its surface shimmering under the midday sun, where Caleb told her stories of the times he had raced with the other kids and the thrilling dives he had taken off the rocks.

I know I haven’t made it easy on either of them, but it is the only thing I haven’t been able to get over. “I’ll ensure everything is loaded and I’ll meet you at the truck.” I watch him go before turning and going to the hideout we found many years ago. I go to the library and ensure I am alone before pulling a book called White Fang. A bookshelf slides open and I enter, pushing the button to close the door.
