Novel & Cerita High Rise Invasion Masks Characters

She couldn't tell when, where, and how they appeared. Jeri fearfully dropped her hand, shifting her gaze from one person to another, but she was unable to recognize any of them because they wore masks on their faces. Nonetheless, she was convinced that those men were not Darien's guards because they were not in uniform, nor were they having the tags she knew Darien's guards always have on their clothes. Jeri was certain that the men were hooligans and were hired by Aysel. So, if she doesn't stay calm, they might eliminate her without thinking twice.

Just as I built up the courage to turn away, my floating dream of freedom, danced away with the wind before my eyes. They sauntered in effortlessly, like spiders seeping through the cracks of the earth. Five men. Dressed in all black. Armed to the teeth. Lethal. Predatory. Their presence alone swallowed the hallway whole. But one stood out. He was tall, broader than the rest, his face hidden behind a mask so grotesque and terrifying that a shiver ran through my skin. He was casually dressed, a hood over his face, his burning eyes visible behind the mask.

There were canisters everywhere spewing dense white fumes in bright streaks against the mesmerizing pillars of silver-blue smoke. Brave White Creek and Moonfall soldiers fought in human form, wearing gas masks against the Rogues in their advanced ferocious wolf forms. Declan was fighting against two wolves, and even with his raw strength and bulky physique, he was barely surviving. "Quick, I got a mask in the back. Get it for me!" Alpha Gray yelled in a panic to save his Beta. Nueva threw herself out of the pick-up and ran to the back tray. Her fingers fumbled with the wet slippery straps, and her rain slickened hair obstructed her sight.

Religion has never been my thing, so please forgive me if I don't get their hierarchy correct. Everyone removes their masks. Wow! All three of them are even more handsome than I had imagined. Their eyes just pulled me in before, but even more so now that their masks don't obstruct their features. But I can’t let the eye candy distract me. I cross my arms over my chest, “Now, I think you all have some explaining to do.” I think Vincent just wants some clarification, and the others might, too. “Firstly, Eva, who do you work for?”

I look as Caroline is answering some questions. “Miss, did you manage to see anyone’s faces?”, he asks me and I shake my head. I keep telling them they were wearing ski masks, I didn’t see who they were, and all I know is that they were all tall and male, I could tell by their voices. They asked if I would be able to identify the voices, but I shake my head. I don’t think I was paying too much attention to that as in to keep myself alive.

A line of armored vehicles emerged from the eastern gate. Five. Ten. Fifteen. More than enough. The Guardians weren't retreating. They were reinforcing. The lead vehicle stopped. Its doors opened. And a familiar figure stepped out. Tall. Black armor. Silver mask. The symbol of Ascension painted across his chest. The atmosphere changed instantly. Every Guardian straightened. Every child froze. Even the wind seemed to stop. The newcomer slowly removed his helmet. Revealing a young face. Maybe twenty. Cold eyes. Empty eyes.

They called me I don't know if ill run, but I'm strong I can manage to beat them, but the problem is that they are 3 and I'm all alone. I'm ready to run when one of the gangsters throw an empty can of beer exactly to my head " I'm sorry I'm not looking for trouble" I apologized, I'm ready to walk when one of them pulled my collar and throw me on the ground "I told you I'm not here to mess with you guys!" I said calmly, I'm controlling myself now, I don't want to fight them back I was about to stand up when the man wearing a mask, I guess the leader of this shit suddenly punched me on my face, he messed with my face

There's about twenty masked fighters in black cloth on every inch of their skin. They have masks on their faces that makes them unidentifiable and there's not no symbol on their weapons or their outfit. “Go and hide. Now.” I hesitate a moment and he hisses over his his shoulder “Now.” I quickly stumble away to stand in front of what looks like a cave, and watch with rocks in my stomach.

Among the five people around the conference table, only Celestine’s face was bare. I frowned. This was different. These weren’t the usual masked goons she sent after me. These four people had an air of authority in them. I could almost feel their arrogant even with their masks on. It seemed like they held some authority like Celestine. How strange. They didn’t smell like an Outworlders. These were humans. My gaze landed on one of them, the one who was wearing a golden masked, and my stomach dropped when I realized why he looked so familiar.

A grand double staircase extended to the upper floor. No one was able to recognize one another, since they were all wearing masks and it was all panned by Ivan himself. Adam didn’t let go of Mariah even for a second, he wanted to make sure she was safe even if it cost him his own life. After a few minutes, a man appeared and stood right between the double staircase so everyone could see him. He was wearing a mask as well but along with the mask, he was also wearing a crown. He had a glass in one hand and a fork in other. Adam noticed him and knew exactly who he was. The figure above him was staring directly towards his direction but something was odd. He wasn’t looking at Adam, his eyes were
