Just as darkness surrounds me, a bright piercing white light forces its way to behind my eyes. A sharp pain registers in my chest as my heart bursts back into life, my lungs now burning painfully as I suck in air. “I am giving you a second chance to right the wrong against you.” A ghostly voice echoes out in my ears. My eyes shoot open…steel shutters have morphed into a blank white ceiling. The cold blood-soaked ground is replaced with the comfort of my bed. Gone are the mutant wolves trying to eat me alive. And beside me, Anton's heavy arm rests across my waist. I am back.…. I am reborn.

The elderly man said slowly. These people were talking in languages I couldn’t comprehend. Who is reborn? Who was growing stronger? It suddenly occurred to me that they were actually talking about me, and the thought filled me with so much dread that I could literally feel my legs wobble slightly. “What’s that supposed to mean?” I finally voiced out in a small voice, seeing as no one was willing to explain whatever it was that they were talking about to me. “It means that you’ve been literally growing in strength every dune you were reborn weeks ago, and that your new strength is beginning to exhibit its traits.” Mary divulged.

So, you get to go back,” the lady tells Iris. “You get three chances. If you can’t defeat Daria and Ingrid, then I lose, and you stay dead.”

The realisation of what was happening hit me with full force; I had actually been REBORN. The reality was still so confusing that it was hard to grasp. After being burnt by the fire set up by Sophie and Logan, I got reborn, four years before my death. I was reborn four years before everything began to happen. I wasn't crippled, I wasn't vulnerable, I wasn't weak. Sophie’s perplexed expression only deepened as she watched me gaze around like a lost bride.
