Novelas y relatos de Home Lander

Landon lowered himself carefully from the car, wincing as the movement pulled at his healing wounds. He dismissed his driver with a curt nod and stood for a moment, staring at his new townhouse. He’d purchased it three months ago as a backup. No one knew about this place except his family and a select few he trusted with his life. Perfect for a man who was supposed to be dead. Landon punched in the security code and stepped inside, his footsteps echoing in the empty foyer. The place was sparsely furnished—a leather couch, a glass coffee table, a king-sized bed upstairs.

Love you''. Kim watched as her cousin sauntered out of her office and thought about her parting words, because Sam was right about something, she did miss home, a lot. Lovers's valley was a small town in backwood California where Kim had grown up, everybody knew everybody there and the people of lover's valley made it a habit to be in each other's business, if you had a secret the town was definitely not the place for you, but for Kim, it was home, the home she hadn't been to in eight years. She often saw her parents on occassions like Christmas which was only possible because she had promised to always buy their plane ticket whenever they came to New York, although they never missed any opp

Madam Amelia seemed to know this as she nodded her head at me. “Now what? You can’t break your vow. What will you do? You can’t have a Wolf Rider running around Astoria.” There it was. She knew what her daughter was. The half human part of it was the least of it. The fact that she was a Rider—a creature that could control a werewolf with a simple command. A creature that ruined my family's life. A creature, who must be destroyed before it gains power. There hasn't been a rider born in half a century, and even before, there was only one that ruled Astoria.

“Impressive. What about the electronics?” Nico grinned. “EMP shielding, night-vision cams, and a biometric safe in the trunk. Next up, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300: twin-turbo V6, 409 hp, lighter armor for agility, hits 130 mph, perfect for off-road escapes. B6 protection, blast-resistant undercarriage.” Dante and I circulated, his arm never leaving my waist, pulling me close as we approached a cluster of clients. “Señor Rossi,” Dante greeted a Milanese arms dealer, his tone warm but edged. “See anything you like?”

Mary Jane then explained, “This is Lustmord, an island spanning more than 2.2 million square feet. This is Javier’s home.” The group was shocked! They had originally thought that it was rather decent to have a humongous mansion by the sea. However, they now realized their poverty had limited their imagination… ‘Javier’s house is actually on an island, and this entire island belongs to his family!’ In fact, when they landed, Lloyd and Herschel even noticed that there were private firearms on the island, including an anti-aircraft vehicle with rocket launchers installed in it. Herschel was so shocked that he was almost in tears. “Mr. Kersey, is this a house or an entire country? How is it that

Once we arrive at our destination, we can better figure out what we are working with. After about an hour of not being able to sleep though, we decided to hit the road again. We were all on edge currently and I knew that it would more than likely be a good bit before anyone could get any sleep. On the way to the pack location, where Zach had created a safe place for hybrids, the car ride wasn’t comfortable at all. It was a little cramped, but we made it work. It took a few hours to reach the place I have considered home for the last five years. No one had said much during the ride, which was probably because we were all still trying to come up with a solution.

"We're back, father!" Juan Pedro announced their arrival. They were on a convoy of two vehicles featuring the latest off road machines of transportation, Avos Land Cruiser that costs 30 million pesos each. His father wanted to own and drive a sports car but he decided against it because of the condition of the road of their town. It was a bumpy ride to have that type of car around. "Yes, my son. We are indeed back." Fernando Jose muttered and saw the hardship of life around. It never changed, he thought.

Lander announced as they get in front of his father's company building. Celestine peered outside the window and admire the whole building while the car is moving towards the parking lot. She can't believe that Lander's father is managing a company with a huge building. She knew that Lander is a rich man because in the modeling industry Lander is also a well-known personality and she's not stupid to not know that in just one project Lander can earn millions. But she wasn't aware that even though Lander did not pursue modeling he can still succeed in being a businessman because he came from a wealthy family who owns a company.

“You have Wyatt Landers coming to stay at your hotel.” Wyatt... it couldn't possibly be him, though. He was a beach bum bartender, not a penthouse suite who made hotel executives nervous. Wyatt was a common enough name. “Who is Wyatt Landers?” Cassie asked, straightening up the pens on the check-in desk. “And why is he so important?” “You seriously don't know?” Lenny scoffed. He shook his head and rolled his eyes. “The Landers family owns the 'Lands INC,' you know, the biggest home goods store in the world. Wyatt Landers is the current owner. He's a multi-billionaire.”

He pulled me in for a hug, he pecked my forehead like a big brother saying it’s going to be okay, before leaving me stunned. Shaking my head, I stared at the scarlet Land Rover Discovery Luka was willing to lend me. I guess it’s better than stealing Marco’s Camaro - that big baby would probably cry and hate me forever - and the fact that it has no tracker will help me a lot. Tossing my bag on the passenger side, I saw a couple of other bags in the back seat, but I was running out of time. Dawn is closing in; the engine roared to life, and the security didn’t even bat an eye when I drove out of the estate.
