Jess wished she were standing closer to Caine but reluctantly took Kiaan and Damien's clammy hands when they reached out to her. I call on you to make this spell magick, so mote it be." After the third iteration, Jess looked about the room and noticed the others doing the same. Brows raised, Kiaan asked, "Is something supposed to happen?" "Not now," Damien assured him. "But it will. Trust me."

WINTERS POV I stepped into the middle of the spiral looking thing that Heedah drew. everyone made a round circle around it, called Jasper, Daniel Heedah and Lydia. Heedah gave them some papers where she had written the incantation that they were supposed to repeat, we took in deep breaths continuously, everyone was scared of what the outcome might be. "Remember raven for Death, blackbird for vision." Heedah said and I nodded, the next thing, she motioned for everyone to start calling the words on our papers in unison.

I re-braid my hair and go downstairs to get started on the resurrection spell. I took a photo with my phone of the page in the twins’ book. If we don’t do this exactly like the book says, the spell won’t work. I pull jars of herbs from the cabinet along with my mortar and pestle, which I was lazy and didn’t clean out the last time I used it. Giving it a quick wash, I hold my hand over it to heat up the stone and help it dry. All three of my familiars caught something, and the mouse Freya is chewing is almost gone. Pandora has something that I think might have been a squirrel, and I have no idea what Binx has ripped apart.

She asks, indicating for us to all to take a step back. With an annoyed sigh, we all step back as one, giving her a foot of space in between us. Morgana rolls her eyes before she begins to speak. “The spell that has been placed on Jamari is very old, and very old.” She begins, a frustrated growl leaving her lips. “It would take someone old and powerful to accomplish this level of spell.” Kenji and I turn to look at each other, uttering one word at the same time. “Thoth.” Power swells around us as the man who’s name we both uttered suddenly appears in the room with us, a mischievous grin on his face.

Micca leaned over and sniffed the bundle I placed in front of her. I picked up everyone one by one. “Yarrow, mugwort, rose, rosemary, and ginkgo. Alone and they aren’t much but together, with a little sacrifice and the right words, and we have a spell.” I handed the last bundle to Wendy. “I’ll go first.” I placed the candle in the center of the bowl and lit it. “Fuck.” I got up and went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife and came back. “A knife?” Hanna paled, but I just chuckled.

Resolve. The Hallow stirs in the shadows behind me, a low hum vibrating through the room. It’s hungry. Growing. Waiting for the next offering. Jason believes this spell will give it what it needs. The word should suffice. To my astonishment, it does. He turns, blinking pointedly as he waits for me to speak. “Is that all the information you have for us?” I ask. “Yeah, that’s about it.” He snaps his fingers. “Oh, except for this: the spell is intended to make you two irresistible to each other. So you produce lots of little puppies. Make of that what you will.” My hand drops to my stomach. “Thank you for having me. Lovely home you’ve got here,” Jonah says with an exaggerated bow. As he leaves the room, he calls, “You have my P****l.”

Trisha asks, her eyes wide. “Yes, there is room for failure,” Delphnie admits. “I still need to chant correctly. But having these herbs you provided puts me at an advantage. The scent of St. John’s Wort, nettle, and sage in the air will strengthen the chance of releasing the spell. I’m going to need some time to simmer them first. Then, we’ll put them in the spray bottle.” I whip my head toward her. “Time? That’s something we don’t have.”

Lylah uttered, placing down the glass of wine on the outside table as she looked at me with a sharp teasing frown. I inhaled my first bit of the cigar, closing my eyes with pleasure and turned to exhale it on Lylah teasing her back. She coughed waving in front of her face to remove the cigar fumes that surrounded her nostrils. "You tease, come here!" She said, giggling whilst trying to snatch at me, almost falling off her chair. "Hey guys, I think I got something. Look!" Melody said excitedly. "Demolishing spell. It says that it can be used on any beast of hell. It needs the strength of a few witches. The more the better," She explained.

"If that is the case. We can get started" They headed to the girls' room. Ariana opened her bag to bring out four yellow candles, a long thread, and an aventurine. It was a green crystal stone. She drew a circle with gray chalk on the floor and a star in the middle of the circle. She placed the candles in the middle of the star and then pointed to the rest their position to sit before finally settling down. "Jabal, you're a wizard too. You will join us to say the spell".
