Victor’s eyes flared gold in the dark.
“Let him choke on it,” he said, rolling us so I was under him again, slow and deliberate this time. “You’re not his anymore. You’re mine—in every way that matters.”
He slid into me gentle, deep, eyes locked on mine.
“And I’m never giving you back.”
I wrapped my legs around him and took everything he gave—slow, reverent, healing.
Outside, the pack howled at the moon.
