MOON-BOUND HEARTS
A bear—the same one who had fought in the battle, who had roared and raged and killed—took to sitting outside the healing hut, a massive, furry guardian for all who entered.
Hope, with her natural gift for comfort, began visiting the families who had lost the most. She would sit with them, hold their hands, tell them stories of the fallen—not sad stories, but happy ones, memories of laughter and love. Sometimes she just sat in silence, her small presence a reminder that life continued, that joy was still possible.
"I think she's helping more than any of us," Luna observed one day, watching Hope hold the hand of a grieving mother. "She doesn't try to fix anything. She just... stays."
