He was helpless and the only helpless thing to do was to scream for help. Dane walked in anger, he was pissed about everything. He regretted coming to the forest. 'Dane. Come in." He heard his teacher's voice from his walkie and out of anger, he threw it some few feets away from him. Holding his bag now in his hands, he abruptly stopped and searched for a flashlight in his backpack, finding it, he happily sighed and zipped up his backpack. It was dark now and he needed to find the path to the bus. He hoped he hadn't lost his way as he couldn't see any visible landmarks around the path he took.

I tried to think. Nothing came back. There was no name. There was no Alanza. There was only the pain. Then, the heat vanished, replaced by a soul-crushing cold. I was surrounded by water. It pressed in on me from all sides, heavy and indifferent. I tried to inhale, but my lungs filled with liquid. I felt the frantic, primal urge to thrash, to fight for the surface, but my body wouldn't move. I was sinking into the dark. My chest burned as I drowned in the silence.

My male raises his voice in an attempt to show he wants the finger back tiny palms reaching for Cronus's hand. I remain silent again not wishing to conform to his words that pain me. Drowning. "Why don't we have a little fun with our food first. Ladies?" I am jerked by the foot by something underneath the water. The forest disappears as the darkness of the river takes hold of my vision. I scream underneath the water as I fight for air that I desperately need. My gaze swims around trying to search for Julia. I shiver in fear when I can see nothing at all. A hand attaches to my shoulder and I struggle against it. I am quickly running out of air. As my eyes close for what I think will be my final moment, I hear a soft voice on the waves. Remember.

I pressed both hands against the glass and screamed their names until my throat gave out and there was nothing below us but fire and dark ocean and the sinking structure of the rig going under. No figures on the platform. No movement in the water. Nothing.

The force pulls at me just as I grab the stump but it’s too strong. Gasping for breath and panicking, I fight against the relentless force that threatens to drag me deeper into the icy river. The darkness of the water envelops me, and I can feel the cold seeping into my bones as I desperately cling to the wooden stump, my fingers slipping against the wet surface. I’m too heavy to stay afloat. I know I’m going to drown because of this fucking gown! As fear and despair grip me, my thoughts race to Alec. Where is he? Why isn't he coming to my rescue? My mate should sense the danger I'm in. My heart pounds in my chest, and my vision blurs as I struggle to stay afloat.

And the sky is the same colour as the ocean so they bleed into each other at the horizon. I know I should not go deeper, I'll drown, I can't swim. But I do.
