Jacob frowned slightly, confusion flickering across his features.
“Because he deserved it.”
“That’s not what I mean,” she pressed. “It wasn’t part of the plan.”
The words caught him off guard.
“I know, it just felt like a long process and I didn’t want to get you involved, it was not your war”

After Lisha went to her house to explain what happened to her to her parents , when she stood up to leave, she saw a family framed picture in the wall which had Jacob in it. She asked them who he was and they told her it was her brother but severed ties with him.
