The Dare That Ended Us
I realized I must have been going through withdrawal.
I had always thought that without her, I wouldn’t be able to survive.
But now, it seemed I could live without her.
I had assumed that this was the end of our story.
Yet, half a month later, I saw Clara again.
She waited for me downstairs at the company.
Seeing her again, my heart felt calm, undisturbed.
