I saw Lane nearing and it was the best view I could have before my eyes gave up. I closed my eyes confidently. I knew Lane was there. I knew I'd be safe from harm. I knew he'd save me. It didn't fathom in me if I died or survived. I was just content with the thought that he was there. And he was the last person I saw. Cold air passed through my nostrils like I haven't breathed in a very long time. Then the scent of medicine and chemicals went in next. I coughed lightly as my eyelids slowly opened. I was actually planning on making this one a lot shorter than Alpha Osiris, but I clearly failed.

I just couldn’t decide how to slay it. I could cliffhang my readers or just give them an open ending, either which could lead to a sequel in case it clicks to the majority.
