How Old Is Enid From The Walking Dead Novels & Stories

And for the first time, her expression changed. Not hostility. Not recognition. But…calculation. The kind of look that measured a person to their bones. I swallowed hard. Her eyes narrowed slightly. “So. She survived.” That single sentence sent needles of fear dancing across my skin. She survived? I wanted to speak, to ask what she meant, but my vocal cords were frozen. Adrian stepped fully between us, voice low and lethal. “Don’t involve her.” Lydia clicked her tongue. “Oh, please. You think I came all this way not knowing exactly who she is?” Her eyes returned to me. “Elena Dawson. Twenty-seven. Reclusive philanthropist in your previous timeline. Dead in your previous timeline.”

Calden Enid will be discharged today, and I’ve cleared my schedule just to be here. She’s been through a lot lately, and after that last coma, her body’s been too fragile to handle anything on its own. She was born without a wolf—weak, defenseless—and every doctor keeps saying how lucky she is to still be alive. Lucky, because there’s Jodie.

‘‘Why does your mom care so much about her? Before she continued, there was a little period of hesitation before she told me about her. ‘‘Enid had known us ever since she was about nine or ten years old. She used to live with us for approximately three to four days every week…’’ She began her story as she sat down on the bed, and I listened attentively to her. ‘‘Enid is actually my brother’s childhood friend, and she always harbored romantic sentiments for him. Her temper is too similar to yours—stubborn, cold, haughty, and desperate…’’

Enid walked after him, calm as morning, and finished it with a quick, brutal stab. Silence fell again, broken only by the buzz of flies already gathering. I got out slowly, heart hammering. Mouth and eyes wide open from shock. Enid wiped her blade on one of the dead men's cloaks. Her expression didn’t change. “I didn’t know you could move like that.” I said, closing the distance between us, “that—that was extraordinary” I added. “You’re aware I’m a wolf, right?” She asked. I swallowed hard. “They were loyal,” I said quietly.

Diana 84 years. The words hang in the air like smoke after gunfire. The room goes deathly still. Then— A raw, guttural scream tears from Elder Fendel's throat. "Eighty-four YEARS?!" Spittle flies from his lips as he lurches forward, his aged body trembling with rage. "You've been betraying us for decades—before any of us even joined the Council?!" The other Elders recoil, their faces slack with horror. Gasps echo off the stone walls.

“You’ve been married for fifteen years? What’s it like?” Enid leaned against the counter, her eyes softening as she reminisced. “Oh, it’s not always easy. But my husband, Torin, he’s a good man. We met when I was young, just like you and Olivine. We were both a little clueless, stumbling our way through love. But we figured it out, little by little.”

Her hair still smells faintly like lavender shampoo and the warm sweetness of childhood. As I walk downstairs with her, I know Enid hears us. She looks up from the kitchen island where she’s peeling fruit, her eyes immediately flicking to Aurelia. And something in her face softens. “Hey, baby,” she says gently. “You’re awake.” Aurelia reaches for her without hesitation. That feeling hits me again. Enid takes her into her arms like she’s been doing it for years, not days. Aurelia rests her cheek on Enid’s shoulder, small fingers twisting in the fabric of her sweater.

“Thank you, dad, please ask her.” “I’m just saying, I mean, they are not even related.” “Don’t push them,” Edward caressed her face, “let them decide on their own.” “They are not getting any younger.” “They are Nightwalkers. They are still going into their prime. Nightwalkers mates from two hundred years, remember? And they are just a hundred and seventeen.” “Going to eighteen. I mean, Mariah will be a hundred and eighteen in the next two months. The blood moon is in a month’s time, I really hope she finds someone before her birthday.”

“Alex, you can take Sheila. I’ve had enough walking for my age. I’d rather stay and chat with Old Mrs. York.” Terence was about to join them when Enid gave his sleeve a tug. Getting the message, Terence uttered, “I’ll pass, Alex. You two go on without me.” In the end, it was just Alex and Sheila going out for a walk. Everybody gave them some time alone. Once the pair was out of sight, Grandma May cut to the chase and asked Enid, “Mrs. Jones, what do you think of Alex?” “Just call me Enid, Old Mrs. York.”

Enid sat on my dads shoulders in her blue tanktop and black shorts, her hair in two seperate braids that ran down her shoulder. "So will I be the boss?"Enid asked dad."Well if your dad wants you to be."He replied."But Emmet said its always a boy, and the oldest."She argued and my dad chuckled."Thats just what has happened for generations, but maybe we should shake it up a bit huh? You can lead the mafia."He replied and she smiled."Papa! I'm going to be the leader of the mafia!"She called to Colton and Colton smiled at her."Of course you are."He replied lifting her off dads shoulder and sitting her on his."Grandpa and papa, you two are best friends right?"She asked and dad smiled at Colton."O
