How Old Is Eyeless Jack Novels & Stories

Elena shifted beside me, I glanced at her, she looked uncomfortable. My father sighed. “It's been twelve years.” “I know.” “You haven't even given me a chance to explain.” I laughed bitterly. “Explain what exactly?” Before he could answer, footsteps sounded from the staircase. Everyone turned. It was Jack. The brat had grown taller, but somehow, his arrogance remained exactly the same. He wore a pair of expensive glasses, his expression already twisted into irritation. He stopped when he saw me. His eyes narrowed. I stared back. Neither of us spoke.

"Well, if he's not exhibiting any symptoms, I can't do anything about that," Elena said slowly. She turned to JJ. "Your ears are good, so I'll be checking your eyes now, okay?" Elena had just turned on the pen light when Jack immediately began protesting. "You can't shine a light that bright into a child's eyes," he all but yelled. "They're still developing—you'll blind the kid!" "Mr. Winslow, I assure you our lights are not bright enough to do that," Elena said. "Additionally, I move the light quickly, so JJ isn't even experiencing any discomfort."

He whimpered in pain with his eyes closed. Why did he come back to this state? I looked around. Not only my pack members, but the Celestial Dawn pack members were also focusing their attention on me. This is embarrassing! Damn! Is mom deep in choosing a partner for me? "What's wrong with you? Your lip is also torn. Did you fight with someone?" I said in a very low tone, not wanting the others to overhear. "He... he brutally beat me up. He's so cruel, he's... he's a crazy man," Jack replied haltingly. Before he finally closed his eyes and fell unconscious on my lap.

His loud crying filled the room. "I'll bring baby Andrew to his mother. I think he is already hungry," George said, picking up the infant from the bed. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw that Jack's eyelids were twitching. He held his breath. Jack opened his eyes wide, and they locked eyes for a few seconds. Then Jack's eyes started roaming around the room and finally landed on the crying infant suspended in the air above him. Jack stared at the crying baby for a long time.

She surprises everyone by hugging them both and a huge smile appears on Simons face. “Likewise, Angel face! I’ve missed you recently.” “Same. Come have a seat I will introduce you.” They stand before us and I stand to shake hands with them, Ellis does the same, but I notice his gaze keeps trailing back to Anya. Jack has bleached blonde hair with a blue streak through it. The top is long and flops into his eyes, dark thick eyebrows frame his hazel eyes that sparkle with mischief, and he is wearing a smart white shirt with black jeans.

Jack sat directly to one side, then looked at Lina, curious to see what she had to do. Originally thought that Misa would be gone for a while, should come back soon. So Lina stopped circling and got straight to the point with Jack. "Did you come here today to see the eyes?" “Little sister-in-law, sister…” Jack was stunned for a moment, unable to react. Jack had a little difficulty swallowing, his heart showing surprise. "It can't be you! Dyan when you go out? He'll break my leg." "Don't be afraid, I'm not your eyes." Lina rolled her eyes, how could she debut!

I sipped the drink before handing it back to Jack. “No one has ever made it sound so easy. You are the first person to actually make me believe I could do something like that,” he said softly. He smiled, his eyes lighting up. They were a combination of green and brown, a hazel that couldn’t decide what color it wanted to be. A girl could lose herself in those eyes. “Anytime,” I said with a smile. He handed me the cold glass and I sipped on the sweet liquid. “You said you were the oldest? How many siblings do you have?”

“Jack, can you tell me what year it is?” Jack frowned, his eyes cloudy. “Uh… 2017? Yeah, I just started working for Dad full time. The company was kicking my butt, but it’s good.” Elle’s heart sank. 2017. 4 years ago. Before their first date, before Elena, before she left, before their engagement, before their wedding. Before their life. Dr. Patel nodded, his face neutral. “And where are you right now, Jack?” “Hospital, obviously,” Jack said, his grin small. “Got in a wreck, right? Elle told me.”

“I think it’s too late. I’m dead.” Gently slipping his fingers out of me, Jack slid up the bed and turned so that we were face-to-face. His blue eyes were dark, an underlying heat simmering beneath the surface. “I don’t know,” he said, his lips quirking. “If this is what it’s like to be dead, I might just take it.”

When I turn around, Jack, one of my close guy friends is there. "Hi Jack," I say smiling at him. Jack is a 27 year old blonde haired guy with piercing emerald blue eyes. All the girls at university gawk at him, but he's happily married, and always acts oblivious to the obvious attention. We've been friends since college, and he's an amazing guy, but our relationship never went more than friendship. "I would've asked you if you're coming to the forum, but I can see that the baby's growing so big," he chuckles and I nod.
