What kept me stable. Natalie's party was going to be a blast. The teen was a Potterhead like I've never seen before. She'd showed me pictures of her room on her phone. Everything was done in Hufflepuff's black and yellow. She even had a stuffed toy badger she'd named Puffles.

Red and gold banners hung in the top two towers with an emblem that I guessed was the schools. “Holy shit, I’m at Hogwarts,” Not realizing I said that out loud. “Only better,” she whispered in my ear, making me jump. “Come let me show you why it’s better. I looked at the grounds and school in awe. All of the students had black and white uniforms with a gold seal on the shirt. The girls wore checkered skirts with white blouses, and gray stockings. While the boys were in black slacks, a white button up and a red and black striped tie.

Tiana stormed in with her gigantic head tie flying all over the place. "What are you doing here?" Suzy faked smiled and crossed her hands over her exposed bosom. "We are here to help in any way possible, hi Suzy." Oliver said with hands in his pockets before winking at her. "So what does this symbol mean?" Hilda raised the A4 paper and narrowed her eyes at it. "It is a picture of a pitchfork crossed over a shovel and beneath it is a heap of sand with two plants sprouting from it." I clasped my arms behind my body.

“Enough!” Every eye turned to the high platform. The Elder’s gaze cut like steel. His voice thundered like a storm. “Clara—you’ve hidden long enough. But you cannot deceive me. Your blood is not Sinclair’s. You belong to Ravenclaw!”

Saw Isolde's small, triumphant smile. "—Isolde Ravenclaw." The world stopped.

’ She bit her lip and held back a sigh. She knew about the sorting system. It was all in the handbook. There were four houses students were sorted into based on, obviously, what type of supernatural they were. Lupercalia for werewolves, Nosferatu for vampires, Ignis, and Antheion for phoenixes and faes, respectively. Humans would be sorted into one of them based on which they had the most affinity to. But according to the Headmaster, it was better for Layla to stay in a rundown cabin instead of endangering the lives of other students. “I stay in a separate dorm,” Layla simply stated, hoping she doesn’t question further.

So the damn castle was going to assign me a magical Hogwarts on crack dorm based on vibes and trauma.
