The black car parked a few blocks away and made another phone call. Sasha made her self comfortable in her favourite booth, she picked up the menu and ordered for something crispy and a juice. The juice arrived first and she opened it and poured in a glass, she sipped from it and savoured the taste in her tongue before swallowing, the first sweet thing she had tasted after last night, she thought and it made her love the juice more.

I look away, hoping he wasn't too mad about my decision to stay here rather than go to sleep. Asher mixes up some potent concoction that doesn't taste too good, but after another, I start to feel myself loosen up. Jasper however, keeps with a glass of water, while Asher joins me. Although, the more I drink, the more distant I seem to become from both of them. A buzz has hit me, and both of them seem to be sober as anything. "He just couldn't get me there," I mutter, swiping the remnants of my last drink off my chin. "Like he knew nothing about what makes a girl climax."

That looks refreshing! He noticed that I was looking at the coconut juice he was holding and stuck his tongue out on me. "You want? Huh, in your dreams!" he laughed. I frowned and pouted at him. You can't resist me! You can't resist me! Can you? I prayed and smirked in my mind. I saw him and let out a sigh, giving me the juice. I smiled at him sweetly to annoy him more. “You can’t resist me, can you?” I smirked and then drank the juice. My face immediately wrinkled and I almost spit out the juice or was it even a juice?! Damn it! It's bitter! What did he put in here? A bitter-melon?

Rex replied with a shrug, the smell of the food distracting him, looking down at the plate, it did not look inviting at all, but the smell was intoxicating, “What is this?” “No idea, but it is so good” Lacey replied, quickly pushing the food into her mouth with a smile. “It is stewed desert duram fruit with sun cactus juice, all the nutrients needed to have a strong body and mind,” Al’ik said coming over to the campfire with a plate for herself. “No meat?” Rex asked, pushing the food around his plate with his finger. “Azulthaël has some desert scorpion cured if you want to ask him for some” Al’ik replied, pointing behind her with her thumb.

Levi reappears, a red plastic cup in each hand. “Ladies,” he drawls, holding the drinks out toward Nessa and me. I take it from him, staring down into the cup dubiously at the red liquid inside. “It’s jungle juice,” he provides before I can ask. “Tastes like kool-aid, but watch out, that shit is potent.” Nessa takes a sip, swallowing it down and licking her lips. “Ooh, this is yummy.” She turns to me, tapping her cup to mine. “Try it, Vee!”

“I wish there were other ways to do this.” Samantha didn’t answer, and then I remembered something, so I fished something from the rucksack I was carrying on my back and then handed the bottles to her. “Here. This is the Moongrass juice. It can temporarily protect the kids from the miasma and other poisons and curses that might be inside the mausoleum. This will help them be immune for an hour or so.”

exclaimed Hades within his great astonishment. “What’s happening? Why is Big Boss Virando’s body getting and getting blue?” exclaimed Sugar Aquarius, also in his vast agitation, fear as well as panic. “No idea... No idea... I really don’t know... Just now Brother Vir was thirsty, so in order to quench his thirst, he quaffed a glass of mango juice. Mango juice... Mango juice...” Suddenly, Sumico’s attention was drawn to the mango juice which her beloved Brother Vir had just quaffed.

Erik then offered the flasks to Director Bones and the Aurors. "Drink it." Director Bones looked at the flasks and back to Erik. Her question was evident in her face. "Juice of Dragon Fruit cultivated by True Dragons. Better than coffee and pepper-up for normal humans. You guys seem to need it. It will give you all about twelve hours of energy." Erik explained to them. "I heard about it…" Said the gruffy looking Auror, Alastor Moody. "That stuff is very rare." He took one flask and started casting diagnoses on it. Erik shrugged the comment.

“High heels don’t mix with ranches.” Dolores lifted her chin. “I can handle any terrain.” He raised a brow, a subtle smirk tugging at his lips. “We’ll see how long that lasts.” She shot him a defiant look but said nothing. “Come on. It’s obvious you’re dehydrated.” Zacky led her to the outdoor kitchen. He opened the fridge, grabbed a green coconut, cracked it open, placed a straw, and handed it to her. She blinked, surprised. She took a sip, and her eyes closed. It was fresh, lightly sweet—nothing like the artificial canned versions.

Odessa POV The guys talked it over about letting Heath join our fight. It was more of a screaming match than a talk. In the end, they were torn, and the match was rescheduled for another time. “Here,” I handed Maverick a tonic. He looked at the cup and then at me. “Hell no.” “It’s going to help your shoulder.” “My wolf is good at healing.” “I did not make you a concoction just for you to refuse. It’s going to help. It’s made of elderberry, ginger-earthworms, rosemary and tree moss.”
