Jack continued to guide the smaller fireball ahead of Lexi as he ran to catch up to her, flicking his knife out. The tunnel opened up on the sides. As the fire lit the room, small furry spiders lurched forward after them. Lexi jumped over one in her path. As Jack approached, the spider lunged up in the air at him. He swung his arm out in front, the knife jutting from the palm of his hand. It hit the spider in the middle of its eyes. It screamed as the knife crunched and slid into its surface. The next day, Courtney and I met up again with hopes of continuing our bucket list for summer.
