I manage to whisper. "Shut up!!!" Jake screams, "You would never understand! He was mine! He loved me, he cared about me, and none of his whores ever mattered!" He grabs my hair tighter, bringing my face closer to his; I see the madness in his eyes as I bite into his cheek. He screams in pain, the door to the basement flies open, and my wolves emerge through it. Jake screams louder as he is ripped away from me, and strong jaws bite into his limbs.

Jake sighed. "Jake... don't come any closer" Nora's body trembled, as her eyes scanned him. "Huh?" He whispered. "Look... Your shoulder... You...you were bitten" Nora stammered. Mabel slowly looked and so did, Jake.

I swallowed hard, waiting for him to spit venom on me. "What the hell did I just hear? Where is Lyra?" he asked, his voice hard and commanding yet somehow I could sense he was hurting. His eyes peered through me as if searching for the truth before I started spitting my scripted lines. “We… we were attacked,” I stammered with glassy eyes. “There were too many of them. We tried to fight, but… they took her.” "Nonsense!" Jake spat at me in anger. "Do you think I am that stupid to believe this crap you are telling me!" he growled, connecting his fist to the wall with a loud punch .

Jake watched a dark red slimy substance flow out from the top of the can, descending down its sides and began to slowly creep towards him, reminding him of Venom, the alien from Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. The scary gooey substance hissed and Jake could see small bubbles pop out of it like it was boiling. At one point, some of the substance lurched out at him, landing on his left arm which began to burn like hell. It felt like hot lava, smoldering his skin. He was just about to scream when someone put a hand on his shoulder. “Excuse me, is this yours?” The burning immediately stopped as Jake turned to find a young woman with glasses standing in front of him, her hand outstretched toward him,

Both were like toddlers on a sugar rush as they fought. She knew of the situation of Missy that led to her wedding. She might feel hurt, but being with Jeremy is the safest bet for her. Even her brother says so. As Jacques washed her face in the washbasin, she saw a little spider caught in the current of the water draining. It struggled to get out at first, but then Jacques noticed it giving up struggling. She was surprised and watched it further. It swirled along with the whirlpool of water and it didn't move a limb. But just as the water level reduced and it got sucked into the drain, it used all its strength and clung to the edge of the drain and survived.

I immediately looked down, scared at the prying eyes who followed us. There were so many of them. There were probably hundreds. I didn’t know they really truly existed until recently and now, there were countless of them before me. My heart starts to tighten again in pain. I should’ve hyperventilated or had a heart attack a long time ago. It made me wonder why I haven’t. Is it because that man bit me and turned me into one of them? But I haven’t felt anything lately.

Jaxon continued shrieking and I panicked. “Just kill me instead! Stop hurting him!” “What if I don’t want to listen to you?” Vienna smiled viciously and then she snapped once.
