I Became The First Prince Novels & Stories

Alex jumped in quickly, saying, "Ms. Emerson, don't bother looking. He's not even half as handsome as a regular dude. No cool scars, just plain ugly. You won't give him a second glance." Her hand hovered in the air for a moment before she pulled it back. 20 minutes were up. In the last moments before everything went dark, I mustered all my willpower and said, "Mom, I swear off chocolate forever..." Fiona's eyes narrowed, panic-stricken as she pushed the hair from my face. The second she saw my features, she let out a gut-wrenching yell. "Cole! Cole!" Alex was stunned. So was everyone else. "Ms. Emerson... his name isn't Cole, is it? The guy who brought him said his name's Chester..."

How the fuck had I forgotten? Prince Zaqriel. My breath froze in my chest, and I snapped my gaze between him and Nikolai. The truth hit me like claws to the throat. “You…” I whispered, then louder, “You’re both mates.” Nikolai’s jaw flexed. “Answer him.” I swallowed, turning toward the Prince, though every bone in my body screamed not to. His gaze burned holes through me, waiting. And I hated how small my voice sounded when it finally left me.

Prince Dreksil confirmed his identity, saying, "Exactly, this is me in this vast space." Izabella persisted, "But I saw him recently." The prince paused to catch his breath. "This is me, Aleksander, proving my identity to you." Izabella lowered her head to avoid looking at the man's repulsed expression. "We are one person, Iza. You know that. You called me "Aleks" after our recent kiss. Isn't that proof? But what happened? I thought I was your first crush?" The prince asked, looking at his wife.

If he was not alone, he was only ever escorting his sister, his mother or the Queen. The Prince came out of the guest room a few hours later, Jaxson wanted to check he was alright, ask why he’d called his name over the link. But he didn’t even glance in his direction before sweeping towards the stairs. Jaxson sighed silently before rising and following along with Adam. They only had a few hours before Callum and Matilda would take over for the day. The Prince turned suddenly as they reached the bottom of the stairs. “You don’t need to follow me around. It’s ridiculous.”

His voice rang out, clear and strong, as he made his declaration to the court. "I, Prince Aiden, do hereby declare that upon my father's death, I will take up the mantle of King. I am the rightful heir, and I will serve my people with honor and justice." The nobles murmured among themselves, some nodding in approval, others looking doubtful. But Aiden stood firm, his eyes fixed on the throne that would one day be his. "Furthermore," He continued, "as the firstborn son, it is also my right to claim my mate, Zelda, as my wife and Queen." Gasps filled the room, and I myself looked stunned.

That was my cue. I walked into the throne room that was jammed packed with mostly unfamiliar faces and only a few I knew like Alpha Zayd and Alpha Jasper. A lead warrior made my announcement “All rise for His highness Prince Kian Tikaani, rightful heir to the throne, and by challenge rightful claim to the crown.”

Titan was still trying to convince the Prince to delay entering the Dale of the Doppelgängers until after his first shift. “Your increase in power, Prince Hayden, will be significant, unprecedented. You are your father’s son and he is perhaps the greatest Alpha King to date. Your skill even before your shift at battle outmatches that of your father’s back when he was a boy! Imagine how easy it’ll be for you to get the sword from the Doppelgängers after you inherit your full power. It’ll be the most sure course to victory. Think of…” “Titan!” Said the Prince sharply. “That is enough. My mind is made up.”

He responded, "Elias Langley, first prince of the Allsbrook empire and next in line for the throne." "Did you just say prince?" I asked, eyes widening. "As in royalty? Kind of a big deal? That kind of prince?" I had to have misunderstood him somehow. There was just no way I woke up in a prince's bed with no recollection of anything beforehand. "Yes, I am a prince. Is that so hard to believe?" He looked slightly offended by my reaction. "Everyone knows who I am." Prince... This guy was not only a mythical creature, but he was also a prince and soon-to-be king of an entire empire. What had I just gotten myself into?

* H BACK STORY * My real name is Prince Silas Reminaton, I was the firstborn to King Jeremy and Queen Camila. We weren't a very big kingdom, as we were only made up of a couple of clans. My father ruled with a firm hand, but my mother made sure he still showed them kindness and fairness.

“The Crown Prince of Winacellu and the Dorm Leader of Faenice, His Royal Highness—” “Can’t, can’t you just cut it down to their actual names?” I requested, wincing at the very long introduction of their prince. “Okay, okay.” She nodded. “So, Kieran Fiores Gregory, Winacellu’s crown prince; Murien Larimar Samudra, Malecoy’s first prince; Leonis Raizen Aureus, Aslan’s second prince; Lazul Horacin Samudra and Guren Cairox Samudra, Malecoy’s twin princes.” She snatched a cookie from the plate.
