I Heard The Story Novels & Stories

The story traveled through the pack the way true stories traveled. Not through formal announcement or deliberate communication. Through conversation. Through the particular way that things which were real moved between people who recognized the reality in them and passed it along because it felt worth passing. Elara heard versions of it from three different directions in the same week. Maren told her first, with the directness she brought to everything. She stopped Elara outside the community hall after a Thursday session and said that she had been hearing the story being told in the pack and that she wanted Elara to know what shape it had taken.

“I would love to hear more stories if you have them.” Every story he told brought me one step closer to the parents I knew I would one day hold in my arms. More than anything, I wanted to know them completely. “Gladly.”

Elena listened closely, her pulse quickening as fragments of stories she’d heard before began to resurface. “There’s a rumor,” Bob continued…

I couldn't believe it. Not when every instinct I had was screaming that this story wasn't over.

“Thank you for your support. I’m surprised to see you here so early. In that case, I’ll start with some news about humans.” The storyteller was not only eloquent but also had many sources of information, so he could find out many things in advance. Just like a gossip station, the people here could hear a lot of news from him. “Everyone is saying that humans are causing trouble. Tell us what they're planning!” someone in the audience roared. Everyone tried to look for the speaker but saw no one. They wondered who would be interested in this topic. The storyteller smiled and nodded calmly.

Ok. "Who is your mysterious friend?" "No answer." I knew it was pointless to push. "Then, how you learned about my name?" "I knew you from when you were still in your mother's womb." I gasped. "How? Who were you to her?" I raised my voice as well as myself. "Easy girl. I won't answer that either." "Then what the fuck am I doing here?" I yell, exasperated. "Well, there is a meeting I didn't want you to attend." he simply replied.

From the last full stop which is after the name of the case (just kidding). Let's start from the park again because I thought you wanna know who has the guts to do such a thing. When Clark was telling Patrick about the case someone else saw them and thought it would be great if he'll get some great news from them or breaking news and he started to record that but the news was unexpected...

’’ he answered looking at my eyes. ‘‘I feel it too, but have you heard the stories, do you think they are true?’’ I inquired further. If he came here every day, he ought to at least know something about the stories that went around. He ought to have at least a rough idea about everything that is happening around him and the history of his favorite place. ‘‘What stories?’’ He asked genuinely. ‘‘What, you haven’t heard them everyone knows it, its like some basic common-sense knowledge that everyone around the school knows.’’

Martha gave her daughter a puzzled expression. “I know,” Natasha said. “I know you and dad didn’t want us kids to know about what happened but there was that one time when I was in high school, you thought I wasn’t at home but I had dodged class to attend a concert. I overheard you and dad talking about how you met.” Martha stood petrified to the core. “How much did you hear?” “Not much really, I just heard you telling him not to try anything like that ever again. Your actual words where; no matter how bad you feel things are, nothing is worth taking your own life.

Mmmmuah"! A clap of satisfaction was given to him by the audience as he walked back to his seat. Mr Lucas collected the microphone and rounded up the speech with a joke, saying.... "Now that the grandfathers of triplets Amelia, Donald and Anderson have given their own vote of thanks, now it's my own turn to do so being their day's Master of Ceremonies". Everyone laughed as they clapped...to cheer him up. He began... "The title of my story is..."The Cat and the Single Hen"! He continued...
