I'm Divorcing With You, Mr Billionaire! Novels & Stories

He just replied in one word. "Contract? What contract?" I asked all shocked. "Yesterday you said you want one and a half billion dollors and you can do or give anything I asked so that's only for that. Before you don't have anything to give me but now? Now you have, that to be two things. First my baby which is inside your womb and second divorce." He said casually and their my eyes go widen. 'baby inside your womb and divorce.' 'baby inside your womb and divorce.'

His eyes locked on hers, searching for any emotion… anything. Melinda was silent, then let out a sigh, “Ethan… you’re a billionaire, one of the richest men in this country. I’m just an employee… I’ve stopped deceiving myself into thinking this was leading anywhere.” Her tone was calm but firm, though her hand trembled slightly at the sides. “Melinda… I understand the vacation was a disaster but whatever Amelia told you…it isn’t true. I love you, you’re mine and I’ll make you mine.” He muttered, his tone calm and collected.

I used all my savings up in our three miserable years of marriage, and now we're divorced and I'm left penniless. " I was really stupid". I sighed dropping the hug shirt that I was holding. " Why the sudden realization?" Marina asked with a snort. She was by the shirts section. She picked up one and checked herself in the mirror. I shook my head walking up to her. " Darn... I forgot to get a lawyer so David would have to split his properties with me since he asked for a divorce". I answered looking at Marina in the mirror. She was holding a thin white off shoulder shirt with black dots.

I made to barge in and confront them but stopped when she pulled away to get her bag. “We get her drugged today, huh?” Bianca had a snide smile on her face. Who? Get who drugged? “Yeah. It's high time I get a divorce and be with you Love.” Matteo grabbed her butt but she pulled away. My knees buckled and I held the door post for support. Today is my 25th birthday and this is what I get coming to my husband's office to celebrate. Bianca giggled, hitting his chest lightly. “I can't wait, Babe.” She leaned in again and I couldn't watch, tears blurred my vision. I felt the air get forcefully taken out of my lungs as I rushed to the side to stifle my tears.

He didn’t look sick, just worn down, tired, and lost. This wasn’t the proud man I married. The one who yelled and pushed and acted like everything belonged to him. This version looked like he had been taken down a few notches by life. He stopped a few feet away and looked at me intensely. “Victoria,” he said softly. “I need you.” I almost laughed. Really, I almost did. “You need my money,” I said. “Big difference.” He flinched. “It’s not like that.” “It’s exactly like that.”

Positioning. The marriage. The contracts. The investments in my name. The insurance policies. The sudden urgency lately. My chest tightened painfully. “He married me for money?” “For access.” The word felt worse. Access. To what? To inheritance? To ownership? To control? Before I could speak, a loud metallic clang echoed through the warehouse. We both froze. Footsteps. More than one. The man’s expression hardened instantly. “You shouldn’t have come alone,” he muttered. “You told me to come!”

“The company is dealing with a crisis.” I stared at him. “So you decided to divorce me?” “It’s not that simple.” “It looks simple,” I replied. “You already wrote the ending.” He finally met my eyes. His expression was flat. Controlled. The same look he wore in boardrooms when negotiations were done. “I can’t afford complications,” he said. The word hit harder than I expected. “Complications,” I repeated. “Is that what I am now?” “Elara, you’re taking this personally.”

“Talk to me.” Amelia blinked slowly like she was waking up from something far away. “I don’t even know where to start,” she said softly. Lillian studied her face. “Then start from the part that scared you most.” Amelia gave a small, tired laugh, but there was no joy in it. “Everything scared me.” She looked down at her hands. “Ryan asked for divorce yesterday,” she said quietly. “And today I found out my grandfather left behind a business empire I never knew about.”

I hush her as the news anchor starts to mention a high-profile divorce case. “Billionaire couple Mr. Alexander Adair and Mrs. Anna Adair have announced that they will be splitting apart. Mr. Adair, the worlds hottest billionaire, announced to the media this morning that him and his wife will no longer be together anymore. The reason of the split is unknown but all we know is this high profile divorce case is being handled by one of the brightest, smartest, and fiercest lawyers out there, Ms. Sarah Carter.” The news anchor, Emily, states.

I must say it's a long and unforgettable decision I took to divorce my billionaire husband. "Good morning, ma'am," one of my maids spoke, resuming work early. "You're fired, Hannah, and tell the rest too. When they arrive, pack your stuff and go. I own this house now, and you take orders from me," I strongly stressed to Hannah. "Okay, ma'am, as you wish," Hannah swiftly replied.
