Ice Hockey Romance Novels Novels & Stories

I am greeted by the players as I make way through the stench. While fumbling, to get my key in the lock, Alfie questions “Is that what you're wearing tonight to have dinner with my mom.” “You do mean dinner with you and your mom, right?” I ask hesitantly. These boys and their attempts to set me up this summer have got me riled up. Let’s just say Candy wasn’t the last puck bunny that Quickie brought by. I had the unique pleasure to see the disappointment in the eyes of Tiffany, Foxy, Bambi, just to name a few. Even Kingston “King”, my left defenseman from Russia, brought over his 60-something year old aunt in an attempt to ‘save me from the single life’. She was nice enough and damn, her

So I’d left before dawn, slipping out while she slept, determined to cut her out of my life. My stick slammed a puck into the net, the impact jarring my arms. Sweat dripped down my jaw, my chest heaving. I’d come to the rink to escape, to drown her out with the burn of muscle and the sting of cold. But those eyes—those damned hazel eyes—clung to me, pulling me back to her. She was the reason my name was trending for all the wrong reasons, the reason my father wanted me off the ice and into the family’s real estate empire, married to Sophia Lang, some polished heiress I didn’t give a damn about.

Chapter One Allison If my brother Zane found out what I was wearing under his best friend’s hockey jersey, he’d probably have a stroke right here in the luxury suite. The jersey belonged to Roman Greyson. Number 87. It was massive, made of heavy black-and-silver mesh that swallowed my frame, smelling exactly like him—expensive cedar wood, icy rink air, and a faint hint of pure, intoxicating male heat. It fell down to the middle of my thighs, completely hiding the ultra-tight, emerald-green silk dress I’d poured myself into for later.

Williams just took it. "You need to end the hockey game!" Mariam screamed, her voice cracking with pure rage. She stepped into his space, her chest heaving, pointing a manicured finger at his chest. "Stop playing hockey! It is affecting our marriage! You care more about that stupid puck and the Blackwood Alphas than your own pack. Than me!" Well, that was the excuse she gave for today's violence. Every day had its own reason. Yesterday, it was because he returned from the pack borders too late. The day before, it was because he hadn't tasted the dinner she ordered the cooks to make.

“I’m so hungry; I could eat a hot hockey player.” Chuckling, I let her press her lips to mine for a savory kiss, earning us the coos of her friends. She loves PDAs. I don’t mind it. So I kiss her back, aware that some eyes will be on us, including Mona’s—who I’ve just spotted out of a corner of my eye. She runs the school’s gossip column and is probably taking pictures. Making headlines is a personal fave for Rissa. I, on the other hand, only have to play hockey to do that. She slaps my butt softly and giggles before pulling away.

he agrees. He leans his shoulder against mine. I lean back. Outside, the morning is doing whatever morning does, the campus waking up around the building, ordinary life assembling itself for another day, and inside the rink it's just us and the ice and the quiet and the fact of each other, which is not a small thing. It is, in fact, everything. Off the ice, Captain Liam Whitemore is no longer living beneath the weight of other people's eyes. On the ice, I never played better.

I said quietly. I skated off the ice as fast as I could. My hockey guards clicking on the floor as I stepped off the rink and hurried down the hallway. I was thinking hard. Why was Aurelia so angry? I pushed open the door to the locker room as the smell of old sweat and hockey tape hit me. Aurelia was standing in the middle of the room, her arms crossed over her chest. She was breathing heavily with Cecile standing near the door looking at us. "Aurelia, hey," I said, trying to sound calm. I took off my hockey helmet and put it on a bench. I walked towards her, opening my arms to give her a hug. "Listen, about the announcement I know it was sudden. I wanted to make sure...."

Elena's POV They were the Glaciers' sworn enemies. Their captain, Noah Blackwood, was the complete opposite of Liam. If Liam was the golden "Ice Prince," Noah was the "Dark Knight." Brutal, efficient, and notoriously difficult to work with. He had fired three team doctors in the last two seasons. Rumor had it he hated incompetence. I opened my email. My fingers hovered over the keyboard. I didn't need a resume; my reputation in the league spoke for itself. I typed a simple subject line:

"Oh honey, you should see the drama playing out in our waiting room. Every single day, like clockwork, two very handsome young men show up to see you. And let me tell you, there's been some tension." My heart started beating faster, and the monitor beside me began beeping more rapidly. "Two men?" "Jaxon Cross, that's the ice hockey player, tall and blonde with the most gorgeous blue eyes. Then there's Professor Ronan, dark hair, green eyes, looks like he stepped out of some romance novel." Patty fanned herself dramatically. "Thank goodness, that man is fine." Even in my weakened state, heat flooded my cheeks. The feelings I'd had for both of them in my dreams felt incredibly real. Too real.

Honestly, am I that bad? “You, romance. They don’t go together in the same sentence. Ever.” She snipes back at me. “You’re just a manwhore who only thinks about getting his rocks off. There isn’t a damn romantic bone in your body, Brannigan.” Wow, that stings. Is this what she thinks of me? She may have a point, so I do like having sex and I like having sex a lot. Okay, maybe I have way too much sex more than the average guy but I’m a fucking horny hockey player. What can I say? But this woman, she’s making me want her so badly I can’t even think straight. And for once in my life, I’m not just thinking with my dick. I want to actually kiss her slowly, and touch her to feel how her soft skin
