She moved to Alexander’s side without hesitation, placing a hand on his arm. Cameron rose next, then Casey, then Adrian—forming a quiet line behind him.

“You’re asking him to do what you never would,” Mya said, eyes blazing. “Trade someone he loves to protect yourselves.”
The chairman sighed. “This is not—”
“This is exactly that,” Adrian cut in coldly. “And if you push him, you fracture this family beyond repair.”
