"Don't cry anymore; Uncle has some candy. Do you want some? said Aiden, reaching into his coat pocket, pulling out a candy bar, and giving it to the little girl.
"But I'm forbidden to accept things or food from strangers," she exclaimed playfully.
Aiden smiled knowingly.
"Good girl. This candy is still neatly wrapped, and I have no ill intentions, especially not toward a pretty girl like you," Aiden exclaimed, but the girl only remained silent. "Well, if you don't believe me, I'll eat it.
Aiden ate the candy in his hand and pointed out nothing unusual.
"Here, eat it, so you won't be sad anymore," Aiden said, taking the candy back and giving it to the girl.
