It was a good thing for Simon and me, but it felt awfully lonely. Monday morning, I went to visit my health teacher from freshman year, Rebera Harmony. She was the person that I trusted with everything. More than I could even trust Ellie with. I came into the classroom and plopped down in the chair closest to her desk. "What's up, Charm?" she asked. "It's about Simon." "You two still having problems?" "No matter how unhappy we are, I just can't break up with him. Why?" "Probably because you feel safe with him; secure. You're so used to him that it's easier to stay and be unhappy than it is to leave and be unsure."

You never know. It’s easy to say you’ve got it all planned because I used to say that too. I was completely wrong and naïve. I’ve never thought that my plan could go wrong. No matter how precise you are and how in control you may be, if something is bound to happen, it will happen- whether you like it or not.

Ever since it was justified that the world is round, I started listing the groups of people in this universe that I don't really need to deal with during my not-so-intriguing lifetime. First, STRANGERS. I blinked my eyes twice, trying to convince my self that it's not really happening, that I bumped my head on the wall or something, and everything's just a hallucination. Okay, okay. Breathe in. Breathe out. "Miss, ah, can you move a little? My position is quite uncomfortable. You see, I'm pregnant."

Panic set in as she stumbled to her cloak, patting it down twice with trembling hands before realizing the book was missing. Taking a deep, steadying breath, Evee composed herself and stepped out into the corridor. The noise grew louder, chaotic voices merging into an unintelligible roar. As she emerged into the open, her heart sank. A mob had gathered, their anger palpable, faces twisted with rage and betrayal. At the forefront stood Justina, gripping the book high above her head like a trophy. By their reactions, it was clear they had some idea of the book’s contents.

Like a precious lost treasure, she held the book in her hands with the inscription "The Book of the Banshees" etched like gold on the cover. Evelyn's eyes were trained on the book, lost in the sight of it like an invisible specter tethering her thoughts and focus to one single point.

“You do not need to ask, and it is a stupid thing to even think about it, Winona. You know and very well the answers to your questions. One thing. It is all inevitable.” “Inevitable? Tsk! Of course, it is.” Somewhat giving up about that fact, but not. Winona just hides the flaws that Carlos reminded her. The questions and thinking for it that she shouldn’t have, knowing that everything around them and what makes this world and book spin are all because of what HE wanted. What HE wrote and what they call an inevitable one. “You cannot do anything about what had happen, and no matter how hard you will try to change things during the present time, the future will always happen.” Carlos started

The reason being is (as this author has mentioned in his reply to one of the reviews here) because there will be 2 books for Book 3. One book would showcase what happened if Phraser did make it through and actually alive and soon reunite with Autumn (the book is already up on Good Novel and it is called “Pulling Off the Impossible”) while the other book follows the plot should Phraser did not make it, and it is called “Kiss Me First”.

I picked out a few books, checked the titles, and then dropped them back, they all smelled like old books. After much hesitation on what to read, I picked out a brown hard-covered book from the shelf, the title read "AN INEVITABLE END", and the font was written in a clean and neat write up which attracted me to it. It was so heavy, I had to get a sit, but before I could move away from the frame and go to the chair to check on it, a certain book fell off the stand and hit my leg hard, making me grimace in pain.
