## Author's Note Hello everyone, I am incredibly grateful that you have taken the time to delve into my book “Caged by Him.” Your time and attention are invaluable, and I want to express my heartfelt thanks for allowing my story to be a part of your day. Writing this book has been a journey filled with passion, creativity, and a few challenges along the way, and I’m thrilled to share it with you.

It has an ornate metal clasp on the front which locks the pages giving the illusion of it being a box. I run my fingers over the clasp and it clicks open. I feel my wolf push to the front of my mind but I'm so engrossed in the book I hardly even notice. I open the cover carefully and look at it. On the inscription page is some writing and a hand drawn picture of a wolf in black ink. I read the inscription out loud. 'Journal of Lycius 1800AD' "Where does it say that?" Hunter says looking over my shoulder.

"I have never read about it in any place." Madam Pince said. Susan looked around the various bookshelves, and sighed at the vision of so many empty spaces in them. *sigh* "I am not impressed that you didn't know about it. I didn't see the Book of Records in your table or in its normal place. In it you would find the instructions about this function." "The Book of Records?" Madam Pince asked. "Yes. The record book is a book that automatically records all the borrowed books with the student's name and date. Lucky us that it too has a Hogwarts' Library Stamp on it."

Darius hadn’t really drawn a perfect picture but it was good enough for me to recognize what it was. I turned to push off the chair when the light from my table lamp reflected off the cover of the book. It was an inscription that was in gold but covered with dust. I wiped the cover and the gold sparkled more. My eyes widened as I matched the symbol. The book itself was made by them. I flipped the hardcover to the preface I had skipped and traced my fingers to the bottom of the page, there it was again, the symbol! Beneath it was an inscription that read:
