She doesn’t make me feel weak for harboring emotions and showing them. I’m trying so hard to be this other person and fit in here, but I see all the glances my way, the side-eye looks. I feel like a freak show and an outsider, and it’s driving me crazy in a way it never used to when employees at OLO did the same thing.
