ALPHA REJECTION

ALPHA REJECTION

“Yeah, I remember. You were looking around like everything was brand new, but I didn't know then that you were still figuring things out. The way you moved, the way you interacted, was... unique. “I felt like such an outsider,” I admit, shrugging. “I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t even know the rules. The whole idea of parks, for example—people just walk around, meet strangers, and talk. I never had to do that before. You know how it is when you grow up... differently.” Raina’s eyes soften, understanding in her gaze. “Yeah, I get it. But I think that’s why we clicked. We both know what it’s like to be out of our element. At the café, I saw something in you.

Sold To The Feral Alpha

Sold To The Feral Alpha

She paused, then added, “It must be difficult, though. Not truly belonging to either world.” That hit a nerve. It was something I’d struggled with my whole life. Being an outsider, never fully accepted by either werewolves or Lycans. And for her to throw it in my face like that… it was a low blow. “Well, good thing you heard the ‘gossips,’ then, isn’t it?” I snapped, trying to hide the hurt that her words had caused.

The Vengeful Mafia Kings’ Property

And somehow they were bonding anyway. I looked away pushing the food around my plate. I couldn’t taste it anymore. All the effort I had poured into cooking and into making this feel normal, felt suddenly trivial and small. I was the outsider. Watching them from the sidelines of a story I had written but no longer belonged to. Is that how it’s going to feel when he finds out and he kicks me out? The thought made me want to throw up. The silence was broken by a voice that cut right through my spiraling thoughts.

“You’ll be entering a world that doesn’t welcome outsiders. I suggest you prepare for that.” Noah’s jaw clenched. “I’ve been an outsider my whole life,” he said. “I’m ready.” And with that, he left.

The Fate of the Alpha's Orphaned Daughter

The Fate of the Alpha's Orphaned Daughter

"Growing up, I always felt... different. Isolated. Like I didn't quite fit anywhere." "Many Bridge-Walkers share that experience," I told him, understanding the sentiment all too well. "It's part of what makes your perspective so valuable to our restoration efforts. You understand what it means to exist between worlds." "And now you have the opportunity to help create spaces where others like you can find belonging," Kenny added, his diplomatic mind already considering applications for Daniel's unique perspective. "I'd like that," Daniel acknowledged, his expression thoughtful as we reached the main hall. "To help and help others like me find out that there is more to themselves than they fi

Let them stare. I was used to it. I’d always been the strange one, the outsider, the charity case no one wanted but couldn’t get rid of fast enough. It was almost comforting, this spotlight of disdain. Except this time, some of them weren’t just staring. They were studying. Predators with pedigrees. Vampires who flashed fangs when they smiled. Werewolves with jaws too still. Witches whose laughter felt more like spells cast sideways. This time, I wasn’t just out of place. I was in danger of mattering.

Outsider in My Own Marriage

Outsider in My Own Marriage

The absence of my presence these past few years had made me accustomed to compromising in front of Sophie and her family. Even when Julius replaced me in the family portrait, or when every New Year's dinner table was filled with dishes Julius liked, I endured it. I even comforted myself by telling myself that things weren't so bad if someone could stay by their side in my place. I thought that as long as the family was happy, nothing else mattered. But today, a single apple gave me a wake-up call. If they already saw me as an outsider, why was I still trying so hard to belong?

Let that land. "Abuse is a pandemic. It crosses all borders. All cultures. All economic classes. All education levels. All races and religions and political systems. The woman in a rural village and the woman in a Manhattan penthouse are not living the same experience. But they share the core wound. Someone has decided they get to define who she is. And they've convinced her to agree." Another pause.

The Lycan's Unexpected Warrior Luna!

The Lycan's Unexpected Warrior Luna!

However, I have a feeling most of that is coming from my much stronger connection to Zachariah. It is late when we finally get to the packhouse and I am a little relieved that there are not many members around. As soon as we passed over the border, flashes of feelings and how I was treated by everyone before came back. All the disgusted looks on their faces as I passed, the feeling of not really belonging, always being the outsider and, for some reason, I have a feeling that I will still be the outsider. I am more than just a werewolf; I am more than just a Lycan and I am more than just a panther shifter. I am a mix of all three, which makes me different... Which makes me an outsider...

Liliana
This was one of the crudest and most incredible and original story about shifters, werewolves and Lycans. I hated how they treated their females but it still was so refreshing because it made it so original. I loved Yasmine and Zachariah together. Thank you so much author!!

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Maybe a little guarded. “The way they behave when they’re around you, all respectful and loyal… and then the way they act when you’re not there.” I shake my head a little. “It’s different. You feel it.” He raises an eyebrow but doesn’t interrupt, so I keep going. “When you’re the outsider in a place like this, you start to notice things. Even when you’re not trying to.” I glance at him for a second, then back down at my hands, fidgeting with the edge of my sleeve like I’m unsure. “Stuff other people might miss or think is normal just starts standing out.”

Black Dwarf
The storyline has been good so far. ML & FML character development were good though it was stretchy between 70 and 100 - too much repetition and back & forth. Updates are frequent. I look fwd to author completing the story and me finish reading it which doesn’t happen often. I provided my support.
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.
