My voice was colder than I intended, but I couldn’t help it. I glared at Isabella, with her golden hair perfectly styled. She didn't look as vindictive as she used to be. She looked like she had been crying. Her eyes were red and her face was stained with tears.. Elena stood next to her, looking like a fragile old woman. What was going on? “Everly,” Isabella said with a trembling voice. She knelt down and clutched her hands together as if she wanted to pray. “Please, hear us out.”

To tell her not to cry but the moment her tears drop on my face, my lips part in shock and my eyes begin to close slowly on their own accord. "Jayden, please stay! I'm sorry!" Isabella cries, tears streaming down her eyes. This is the last thing I hear before I give in to the darkness that evades every part of my body and soul.

Now I had to actually pay attention to whatever nonsense Isabella was about to stir up. “I know I had it with me!” Isabella continued, her voice cracking as she wiped at her eyes dramatically, pulling everyone’s attention even more. “It was in my bag. I checked it when I arrived, and now… now it’s gone!” She looked up, and I could see the tears starting to form in her eyes. Crocodile tears.

The shock on Rose’s face made Isabella frown, though she kept her composure. “I know you’re not fine,” Isabella said, a hint of annoyance lacing her tone when she saw Rose’s red, slightly swollen eyes. She knew instantly that Rose had been crying. Stepping inside, she closed the door behind her. “If you want to cry, I won’t stop you. But I won’t leave you alone,” she added stubbornly. Rose’s lips trembled as emotions surged, and she suddenly threw her arms around her sister-in-law, hugging her tightly. Goddess, she loved her. Isabella was everything she could have wished for in Killian’s wife—the best sister-in-law she could ever imagine.

Isabella’s voice broke, tears falling down her face unrestrained. Imelda rushed to her, pulling her into her arms. "No… no, dear… what are you saying? Nikolai? Dead? No…" Imelda stammered unconvinced but the way Isabella trembled and collapsed helplessly into her embrace, left no room for Imelda to doubt it anymore.

Isabella's eyes widened in shock, and she stared at me like I'd grown wings. "How is that possible?" she whispered, her voice barely audible. I shrugged, feeling a sense of wonder. "I'm not entirely sure. But I know it's real. And I know that I saw you, Isabella. I saw your pain, your loss, and your love." Isabella's gaze was piercing, like she was searching for answers in my eyes. I held her gaze, feeling a connection that went beyond words. Isabella's tears flowed like a river, her body shaking with sobs. "My mate," she whispered, her voice cracking. "He was killed. I was supposed to be with him again, but..." I watched, helpless, as she broke down.

“She tore my arm off!” “Your arm is still attached,” I said. “It’s ruined!” Tears instantly flooded the lower rims of his blue eyes. “I need a doctor! And ice! And surgery!” Issa, meanwhile, took two steps back laughing under her breath. Then she ran. “Max is cryyying, Max is cryyying, wah wah wah, baby king is crying—” She darted behind the island, singing in a bright little voice that was cheerful and deeply annoying. “Isabella Maria Gómez.” I deliberately switched on full Latina mode. “Get back here before I personally donate every glitter clip you own.”

He stood beside the bed, staring at her, but Isabella didn’t look up or acknowledge his presence.

I dont know She had a very powerful yet dangerous aura around her.She walked down the stairs not leaving my eyes,but what confused me is she stopped at the middle of the stairs looked around then gazed back at me smirking.The moment she slipped her mask off its like time was frozen. "Long time no see,family."Isabella said as the crowd stood frozen astonished by the fact that Isabella is alive. I didn't notice the glass slipping off my hand,all I heard was it crashing and breaking into pieces.

Olivia asked and her brother nodded his head to show that he also wanted to know what happened to her. Isabella was reminded of the reason why she cried again. Looking at the faces of her children alone was enough to make her remember the reason but, how could she tell them why she was like that? She possibly couldn't tell them that she saw their father. She had formed a very elaborate love story and told them how she and their father was so in love that they ended up giving their first time to each other before she was sent back to Nigeria. She even went as far as to tell them that their father had died a few months after she left the united states and came back to Nigeria. What a world! Sh
